It be youth for a vet. JJ only has 1 year left on his contract and he turns 32 this year.

As per JJ, he's an awesome shooter-- but I doubt he can play more years at this level w/o a downgrade on defense. Will he accept a bench role? If the answer is yes then you 100% have to sign him

Yeah this. Jazz isn't ready to contend which is what this move would be for a contender like the Cavs or OKC or the Spurs would make... We are NOT one of those teams contending.


I'd rather see what Burks can do with a full season next season and a healthy Exum....

No chance. AB is 8 years younger and on a reasonable long-term deal.

If we were a contender, and a shooter away from a serious playoff run, sure, but that's not the case.

Plus JJ has that awful tattoo.

That's not even in the same ballpark. Hayward and George are both pretty close to the same caliber players.
