Riddles!!!

An easy one.

A plane flying from Mexico to Canada, but crashes on the border of the U.S. and Canada.
Where do they bury the survivors?
Survivors don't get buried, fatalities do.

But you didn't answer my apartment building one.

If he started at the equator or any latitude south of it, and at least 1.318 miles N of the south pole, wouldn't he be further than a mile east of his starting location? By an itty bit anyway

Yes, I think so.

A man lives on the top floor of a tall apartment building. Each day he takes the elevator down to the ground floor, goes to work across town, then returns. When he goes back up to his apartment at the end of the day, however, he gets off half way to the top, then walks up the stairs the rest of the way. He would prefer to ride the elevator all the way up. Why does he get off half way?

Still waiting on this one, folks.

I was thinking of it this way. Start at the equator, end at the equator. That's fine, riddles that involve math take too much work for me. lol

He's short and on the way up he can't reach the button to his floor.

Sorry I missed this post.
