2nd round steals that could fit the jazz?

Tyler Ulis - If he was 2 inches taller he would be a lottery pick.

Melo Trimble - Good-sized PG; Should be a first-rounder but if he falls...

Perry Ellis - Can play now. Stretch 4 potential, plus good post moves.

Robbie Hummel from Purdue was a better prospect and player then Layman. He stayed for a year and a half in the league and then overseas.. I know the real reason why Jazz fans like Layman..

Utah Jazz fan wetdream is seeing 5 white guys on the court balling together, Reminds them of the BYU days.lol,..I joke

Perry Ellis has the IQ but I heard from a friend who is close to the KU program and he says he is about 6 foot 7ish. Really undersized and not athletic is a not a NBA player usually.

Somehow, having a great story equates to being a steal..?

Brogdon, Carter, Hart, Uthoff, Payton II, Felder, Bentil, Troy Williams, Niang

Niang to slow to play in NBA and Uthoff to soft.. Brogdan I could see going either way.. Carter, Payton, Bentil all have good shots and I am high on Troy Williams. In todays 3D ball he could be a good piece off someones bench. Hart I don't really like at all

Niang isn't slower than Diaw, which is my comp for him. I'll just disagree on Uthoff. He's not any softer than the majority of guys in the draft.

Diaw is a lot faster then Niang. Niang a real nice college player that isn't a NBA player. Happens a lot. No shame for him. He was a stud in college.

Diaw isn't a lot faster than your mom. He's not a lot faster than anybody.

Maybe when he was younger, but not these days.

Has anyone watched Jaron Blossomgame from Clemson? Impressive stats and highlights from this season, but that's all I've seem from him. He declared for the draft, but hasn't hired an agent. DX has him going undrafted.

The jazz had him in for a workout.

I think he'll go back. Good experience to try out for teams and the combine and get feedback, but he would help himself to go back and keep working at the college level.

Layman is perfect.

He played the exact same role in college that he will be asked to play in the NBA.

Draft and stash. They should take the 2nd round picks, Burke, Pleiss, Withey (if needed) and cash to maneuver into the late 1st/early 2nd round territory to pick the top two draft and stash prospects for down the road. Worked well with Neto. Had they played that game two years ago, they might have ended up with Nikola Jokic as well.

They don't need 3/4 rookies to play this year. They have the time to be patient and let them develop elsewhere. Grab the best player available at #12 and then move around to add couple of young international guys for down the road. If they can come out of this draft by getting Luwawu or Korkmaz with #12 and then any combination of Zhou Qi, Petr Cornelie, Ante Zizic, Isaia Cordinier, Aleksander Vesenkov or Alpha Kaba and I'd say that it was a successful draft.

Zagorac who DraftExpress has us taking with the 60th pick I think would be a great 60th pick. The Serbs on the Euro board I am on really like him and think he is their best hope at the SF. Plays on the same team as Luwawu. So if we are scouting Luwawu we are also seeing a lot of him. Shooting 75% from 3 in the Serbian League.....

Ok you got me they have only played one game in the Serbian league so far. 3pt shooting overall not to great though.
