We are gonna win the lottery (official thread)

Every minute you don't tell us why you're here, I cut off a finger.

Mine or yours?

Yours.

Damn.

With the NBA taking over the 76ers, will any one be surprised when they pick #1?

Then Orlando #2 cause they always jump.

LA #3, cause it's LA.

Left nut is saved for Durant. It's special. Eff the lottery. TBH, the Jazz have a better chance of signing KD than they do of jumping into the top 3.

After careful consideration, I think we should let b_line give his right nut for the top pick. It worked well for the Cavs in getting LeBron back and we should emulate them in trying to get Kevin Durant this offseason.

So the plan moving forward should be. . . jump up in the lotto and get a potential franchise player (Simmons/Ingram) for down the line (but don't be stupid and trade him for Kevin Love), then trade Burks and picks for Jeff Teague (even if it's just as a rental), trade Burke, Pleiss, ($6 million cap space freed up) cash and the 2nd round picks to get the two best draft and stash prospects that they can, set aside the $26 million needed to sign KD and use the remaining cap space ($8-9 million) and Quin's reputation/relationship to get Pau Gasol.

Then you put DL, Snyder, Hayward, Gobert and Malone to work and sell Durant on a full 4/3 MAX contract with a potential starting lineup of Gobert, Favors, Durant, Hayward and Teague with Gasol, Lyles, Simmons/Ingram, Hood, Exum and Mack off the bench. . . (plus Jingles, Withey and Neto rounding out the roster.)

All they have to do is give b_line's right nut to get the #1 pick and the rest should fall nicely into place.

I am dead serious about this. I will give my right nut if Adam Silver will take it. Jazz get the number one pick, I get rid of my right nut. win win win. It's the best of all scenarios.

someone should start a thread going over the real-life sacrifices we would make for a first overall pick this year. They don't need to be big-- just wondering what ppl would put on the line for it. Can be absurd, can be painful, can be money. Who cares.

I'd happily sacrifice b_line's right nut.
