This is one of the greatest innovations in brewing...oh wait, I mean mass produced beer marketing ever, or well, at least in the last fiscal quarter.

A beer with a name stole from a Czech beer maker and with a company currently owned by the majority share holder Belgian-Brazilian InBev and they are calling their name America for the summer. Somehow this is a very suiting name.

I will still drink Bud the same as I will drink pretty much any beer but its pretty low on my choice list even of the cheap beers. They have gotten so much worse after they cut costs and started using cheaper hops and grains.

With so many choices of beer nowadays, why is it even on your list?

So when you go to your friendly bartender and tell him you want a 20 ounce glass of America, he'll give you a glass full of water mixed with lead and natural gas and a little radioactive dirt.

I never say no to a beer. No reason to waste beer even if its kinda ****ty.
No kidding. I'm not too good to drink a Budweiser.

It's not even "bad" beer if you ask me. It's exactly what it wants to be and there are billions of people who prefer the simplicity of an alcohol delivery medium that doesn't overwhelm their taste buds or fill them up too fast.

It's pretty understandable why there was a huge shift towards these light (not as in lite) lagers when it happened.

Ill post this in here since there is a chance the Budweiser thread title will scare away Gameface from reading it and shaking his head at me but I picked up these two beers today:
Hop Nosh Tangerine beer

Heavy Melon Beer: Watermelon and Lime Ale

They are both pretty good.

There is a special place in Hell for people who dont like beer and an even worse place for people who pour it out.

Beer is okay when you're 14 and you're convinced it's an alcoholic drink. Grown-ups don't drink anything under 80 proof.

I dont drink beer to get drunk I drink it because it tastes good.

But yes if your end game is to get drunk drink something strong, I like Whisky personally.

Lagavulin, specifically, for me, although any single malt, preferably Islay, is acceptable. (And not just because of Ron Swanson.)

I think American pilsners (like Budweiser) are brilliant on a hot day, when you've just done a bunch of yard work, and need to rehydrate and cool down quickly. You don't care what it tastes like, they just go down really quick and easy.

I prefer my beer so dark you can't see light through the glass.
