Does Kanter show Jazz made mistake in these playoffs ......

Who is more valuable to the Thunder Ibaka, Adams or Kanter?

Tonight Adams was by far the most valuable. Adams was a +19 in 36 minutes with a double double. He was huge for them. 16 points and 12 rebounds.

Kanter played 18 minutes and was a +2 for the game. 8 points and 6 rebounds.

I hope your day job doesn't involve logic or reasoning... you consistantly have little.

Belittling someone's position by equating it to dissimilar situations does not make your erroneous perception any more true.

So your logic is to belittle another persons logic without providing any argument or counter point? Good point and well respected argument I think you changed my mind.

I didn't belittle your buddy Kanter I compared him to others that are legitimately helping their team win but dont have to deal with fans who think their player is an MVP or worth more than a valuable role player on a team with stars who far outshine them. Kanter is playing decent and helping his team win. There are 20+ players you could plug in his spot that would also contribute and help them win. Glad you assumed he was belittled when comparing him with other solid contributors but I safely assume you are really good at assumptions and logic based on your solid argument and points.

Kanter is a douchebag and lets just be real clear here. IOn his eyes he is a star but in reality says otherwise. He plays on the team with 2 of the top 4 players in the NBA, He plays ona team where Adams is clearly a better player and has a brighter future. If Kanter just shut up and play then I would think different of him but he runs his mouth like he is an All Star. That makes him a douche bag to me. A lot fo players you could play next to Durant and Russ and they would produce. Those 2 take so much of opposing teams eyes that a big can slip in and get offensive boards. Hell Nick Collison made anice living playing next to those 2. Now I know a lot of Jazz [people hate Kanter and I do too so here we agree on something. Cheers!

Heard a guy on 1280 today somewhat insinuating that some of Enes' problems with the Jazz stemmed from Utah's lack of effort when it came to accommodating Enes with religious support (he's Muslim).

I've always wondered why Enes has such venom for the Jazz. I always figured it had to be something more than just minutes/not starting. Interesting if true. Either way, he can go build his sleeper cell in OKC.

So just because someone is Muslim they have to build a sleeper cell? Well you would just make the point about how he wouldn't feel welcomed in Utah..You are a perfect example. YOu belittle the guy and then make a snide racial comment. Yet some of you don't see this as a problem and wonder why Jazz struggle in the free agency game and is the least desirable place for a free agent. SAD

Even if the 1280 guys have any idea what they're talking about, I doubt Kanter's problems had much to do with how he was treated by the fans while he was in Utah. And I suspect free agents are more concerned with the weather and nightlife than a few inappropriate fans. You don't think there is racism in Oklahoma?

Lol dude, it was a JOKE. I wasn't even 1% serious, but nice soapbox. I hope you feel better after posting that.

And for the record, the guy on the radio wasn't insinuating that the Enes had a problem with the fans and their lack of support of his religion. It was more geared towards Enes feeling like the organization somehow didn't make him feel warm and fuzzy.

It wasn't the fans. They made it sound like Enes had issues with the organization in regards to his religious affiliation.

No no no no all of this is bull crap. Enes is the kind of dude that is gonna butter fans to gain popularity. And he is a cult fanatic so he will always promote his cult. This is him going "Oh look at the Thunder I'm so comfy with'em they even allow me a room to pray" Any Muslim knows that the only thing that you need to practice is a clean ground or a prayer rug which is smth like a clean carpet-like thing to sit on. That's it.

The things he said were only dramaticizations to cover up his **** up in battling Rudy Gobert for the starting spot. He was always too full of himself and he though offense was way more important than defense. He was too uneducated about certain fundamentals of the game. He covered them up with all those lies.

Now two years past and he apologized for the dumb things he said and he tries hard on D and plays much better, plays winning basketball. I wish this had happened in Utah. But **** it. Everything turned out for the best for everyone.

He had venom because he wanted to be on a winner team. He wanted to shine. Look like a winner. Also be on a team that can feed him on the post, he can play his own game. Utah's basketball is a little complicated for him. Too academical. Chaotic basketball like Thunder is perfect for him. I am one of the best followers of this dude's game but I gotta say those things. Because people are misinformed. He also was not receiving the ball from Gordon and Trey, those two hated him. I get it, he was a goofy douchebag who liked to pose his muscles and pose with pornstars and cheerleaders he nailed. Not very Utahan.

It was a bad pick. Utah should have picked a PG. They still need to do so. Or a wing that can handle the ball and distribute it. Kanter had fallen on his four feet like a cat with the Thunder trade. I wish Utah got more for him.

I wish Utah got Kevin Durant for him, but the reality is we got market value for him. Which is bugger all

Here's the one compliment I'll give Kanter. Well two. Probably forever, unless he saves children from a burning orphanage or something like that.

In the series against the Spurs, he actually played acceptable defense. And he's a pretty good player when he does so, especially off the bench. If he ever does so long term while I don't think he'll ever be an all star he could get close.

That being said his defense has gone back to the epic suckfest that it has always been so far in this series, and it's very satisfying to watch, though it didn't cost the Thunder in the first game.

Its the same defense.

He can guard the post, he can't guard in space at the 3 point line.

If OKC wants to switch everything, even with Kanter on the floor, they are putting him in a position to fail.

...Because people are misinformed. He also was not receiving the ball from Gordon and Trey, those two hated him....
This isn't the most egregious example in this thread, but something needs to be cleared up. Kanter led the team in 2013/14 and 2014/15 in field goal attempts per minute. He wasn't frozen out by the coach or his teammates; he was given loads of opportunities with the ball -- and more post touches than he gets in OKC. Misinformed...what a crock of ****.

I had to brace myself before I liked ncoloradojazz's post. Feeling very funny. I think I'll be okay by tomorrow.

If it was <1% serious it deserved the rant.

If it was a joke, it wasn't funny.
