Following 2016 potential draftees

Really? Valentine with a high ceiling?

I had nurses in and knew it was a lazy *** post as soon as I hit reply.

It's not what I meant. I was actually listing guys that could surprise me.. that I don't particularly like.

Thon projecting 2nd round seems ludicrous.

He's tall, long, elite athlete, and has a great skill set for his size.
I think his floor is elite rim protector and rebounder. His ceiling is most dominant stretch 5 in the NBA.

There's your fence to swing at.

And why I like trading 12 down to Phillys 24 and 26.

I'm becoming a fan of Chriss at #12. Seems like a good combo of athleticism (elite) and shooting ability. He strikes me as an intelligent person. I've got a feeling about him.

Below is Givony's reasoning for Valentine.

Givony said:
Seven players in Utah’s rotation this past season were under 25, which means the Jazz might like the idea of adding someone who was arguably the most productive player in college basketball last season instead of a long-term project. A big, multi-positional guard who can play alongside Dante Exum, Alec Burks and Gordon Hayward would make sense for the Jazz.

Lindsey said the exact opposite to the SLTrib tonight. He said the position of the team means they can take a prospect who may need to be brought along slowly and be given time to develop. See it HERE

Lindsey: "We'll be very active at looking to trade up, trade back, [or] trade out," Lindsey said.

Lindsey Continued:"There are several very intriguing prospects, that we call anticipation picks, that you might have to wait a while for," Lindsey said. "There are several prospects that have great tools but you'll need to be a little bit more patient. Given the position of the team, I could see us taking any position (guard, wings or bigs). I could see us taking an anticipation pick where we have to wait a few years for them to become a little more relevant."

This resonates way better for me than Givony's drivel.

Translation: We don't want that fatty Valentine.

To be fair, in the previous paragraph, Lindsey says pretty much what Givony said. I think he's pretty much covering all the bases and is saying "we can do anything"(trade up, trade down, trade out, pick safe immediate contributor, pick long-term 'anticipation' pick)
