Following 2016 potential draftees

Jazz take Ellenson or Chris if they are there no questions. If they are looking for three and D I think they go with Luwawu or Richardson.

With Syracuse almost permanently in the zone hard to know really what kind of defender Richardson is. Agree with the Ellenson or Chriss, but would be very surprised to see them there. I think Ellenson lasting til 13 (DX) is a 5% chance.

Agree here... I think Skal, Brown, or maybe Poetl may fall before Ellenson. Can't remember a draft that had this much variance after 2. 2013 has been cited but I think the big surprise was at the top of that draft.

Today the Jazz are working out Ethan Telfair brother of Sebastian and Jarrod Uthoff of Iowa a power forward and 2nd team all american.

Uthoff can play the 3 or 4. Good pick in the 2nd round. He tore it up first part of the season but then cooled down towards the end. I would pick him over Layman.

Uthoff cant play the 3. Guarantee it. No where close as good as prospect as Layman.

Just not seeing it regarding Bender. Tall, but not very long for his height. Poor run/jump athlete - only 27 inch vertical. Incredibly unproven at high levels of competition where he barely played and played incredibly poorly when he did play. Even at the junior levels, his offensive efficiency was consistently really bad for a big guy.

Not that long, not that athletic, soft, poor efficiency, almost entirely unproven against good competition. calling it now. he's a bust. Milicic, Tskitishvili level bust.

Dont agree there and dont think most NBA guys would agree with you. Ford has Uthoff 31 and Layman 50. Ford even has him at the 3. Played the 4 a lot last season because they really did not have anyone else. I think he is naturally a 3.

Yeah, I'm not even close to being convinced either. People want to draw the comparison to Porz, but he's nowhere near as long or athletic as Porz; he's not the shooter that Porz is, either.

I don't see what Bender is exceptional at.

If this draft resembles another draft, it's 2011. There are two guys at the top that the mocks perceive to be in their own tier, and then there's the mysterious Euro big who could go third. And like 2011, I expect many of the best players to be taken outside of the top 10.

Not sure where the incredibly poor stuff comes from but he is 18 years old on a veteran team with a large budget. No surprise he has not played that much. He is a year younger than Porzingis at this point last year. No one should expect Bender to come out playing like the Zinger, but after the top two there are no sure fire stars. Mine as well swing for the fences. Phoenix i think would be a good fit for him and Boston could definitely use him (but they maybe looking to win next year so they may pass).

I must say I hate this mysterious stuff. Particularly last year when Porzingis was called this. He played a ton in Spain and people wanted to act like he was Milicic.

DX doesnt even have him being drafted.....

Can ainge pass on Dunn? He's seems like the best version of the combo guards that he loves so much.

21 points in the 2nd half against #1 Virginia in the Elite Eight.

I don't see many players in this draft with more potential to create their own shot.

DX has some weird stuff right now. Not sure it is very accurate. Being a draft site though they change the draft stuff almost daily to get people to the site. Uthoff is the better offensive player than Layman and Uthoff actually averaged 3 blocks a game.

Layman is a better NBA prospect.

Uthoff was the better college player for sure.

Incredibly poor - he had a PER of 6. That's where it comes from.

But as I mentioned even playing against kids his own age, was consistently inefficient. A low 40s FG% is awful for a 7 footer. He should be killing kids his own age, instead couldn't hit half his field goal attempts.

He's growing on me daily.

He's got great length and athleticism; he's built well, too. He also seems like a humble person, from what I can tell based on his interviews.

The combination of size, athletic ability, persona, and ability to shoot and create... the only other prospect that has all those same attributes is Ingram. I think he's a major sleeper. The way his stock has been soaring is warranted IMO.

His FG% was absolutely abysmal, but he was still a productive freshman at a big school.

He's become one of my favorites in the draft.
