So if you believe the pundits, this is how the draft is going to shake out...
Top Tier
1. Simmons (Sixers)
2. Ingram (Lakers)
2nd Tier
3. Murray (Celtics)
4. Bender (Suns)
5. Hield (T'wolves)
6. Dunn (Nola)
Then things start to get a bit muddy...
Tier 3 appears to be
7. Jaylen Brown (Nuggets)
8. Jacob Poeltl (Kings)
9. Marquese Chriss (Raptors)
10. Skal Labissiere (Bucks)
11. Henry Ellenson (Magic)
However, there are a bunch of players in this range, especially bigs, where beauty is in the eye of the beholder. You've got: Deytona Davis, Domantas Sabonis and Thon Maker who could all go in the 8 - 12 range if teams prefer them to the other bigs for one reason or another. This leads me to believe some team that's looking for a big in this tier is going to be calling the Jazz asking for the #12 pick, as the rest of the stand-out bigs are probably going to be gone by 15 or 16.
At this point in the draft, you've also got the tier-2 wings, including Timothe Luwawu, Furkan Korkmaz, possibly Malachi Richardson and maybe even Malik Beasley who might be considered BPA by certain teams. You've also got the next tier of PGs including Wade Baldwin and Demetrius Jackson. The talent level may seem pretty even from picks 8 - 18. It makes sense for trades to take place so that teams can get "their guy."
So from the Jazz's standpoint, there are going to be several bigs available to them and several wings that are all on a very similar tier. One or more players from the 7 - 11 group is very likely to drop to 12 if teams want a guard or wing instead of a big. Jazz will likely be hoping for Brown, Skal or Chriss to drop.
Trading the #12 pick and another pick (e.g., OKC 1st) might get the Jazz as high as 7 or 8 in a trade-up scenario, depending on what Denver, Sacramento or Toronto are looking for.
