Following 2016 potential draftees

Agreed about trading 12 down for a couple mid firsts (ala 15/19). Seems like a great move in this draft, should still be plenty of guys available there who are interesting.

I'd probably trade 12 for 15 and 19. Baldwin and Beasley.
Denver, Boston, and Philadelphia are all potential trade-down partners. I hope one of them likes someone at 12 enough to make a deal with us.

Trading down for an additional 1st round pick in 2017 (instead of two picks in 2016) is also an avenue worth exploring.

Props for your contributions in this thread. Good takes, per usual.

Malik has a pretty outstanding TS% considering 1) his age, and 2) his usage. FSU used him a lot, but he stayed pretty consistent.

Has a pretty low FT rate, but one would imagine with his propensity for driving that it could go up easily. Still not sold on him defensively, but I think offensively he can make it in the league. Not sure he's ever more than an off the bench scorer, but that's alright. That's what I envision Buddy and Murray being (or the best role for them at least).

Beasley has Bulldog potential. I gotta believe he'll be a draft-day riser.
Question is, does the bulldogedness show up in athletic testing, workouts, and interviews to make him be a riser.

I guess in team workouts against other guys it could show up.

FT rate is one of my favorite stats. I've found that's just one of those things that translates. If you can get to the rim and get fouled in college ball you can usually do it in the pros to some degree. It's rare to see a guy not get to the line in college and then become good at it in the NBA.

Some might even call that quality....#hunger. Is Richardson #hungry? As #hungry as Julius Randle? As #hungry as Tractor Traylor?

Those guys are just appetizers to Glen big baby David. He hongry as hell

Recap:

Beasley 12/30 from the field vs Richardson

Richardson 11/21 from the field vs Beasley

Richardson had the edge in rebounds, steals,FTs, and assist also in the aggregate of the matchups. Beasley had more 3's and total points.

I would say Richardson won the overall matchup this year.
