What's new

Gordon Hayward trade.

Choking implies you were expected to do something. He was a 2nd year player playing against a 1 seed.
If the coach plays you 30 minutes a game, then yes, you are expected to do something. 18% and 8% is ****ing horrendous, no matter how you want to spin it.

Fair assessment. I would say even if Lowry/Hayward is a wash Crowder is better than /Exum/Neto so that puts Utah ahead.

I agree with that assessment for next season. That would make us a playoff team to have Lowry, Hood, Crowder, Favors and Gobert. That would probably get us a 5 seed but that is the peak for that team. I would rather bet on the development of Exum and Lyles over Crowder as well as Hayward over Lowry. That future looks brighter and has a higher ceiling past next season. Lowry might have 1 more high level year in him before he starts to decline.

Another solid post. I'll admit when I originally post the trade I thought Lowry was 28. If I was mistaken about his age I'd likely not post the idea. Even though I certainly don't think the trades as terrible as most here.

Crowder is better than Exum? LMAO

What is dathrone's obsession with playoff chokers?

Exum provided almost no offense. His defense is solid, but not for all the credit he gets around here and certainly not enough to warrant being absent on the other end.

He was a 19 year old rookie who hadn't played compteitive basketball in a year and a half. What the **** did you expect?

That was 2 years ago. Exum going to be way better than Crowder this year.

It's not that the trade is markedly awful from the view of what we are getting. It's markedly ****ing terrible because of what Toronto is getting.

What I expect and how he preformed are two different things. If someone is making the point that player X is greater than Y it's not based on expectations or potential.

The trade even if Lowry was 28 is one of the worst I've ever seen. Toronto gets a kings ransom, The Jazz get royally screwed. A LMAO at this trade is more than a fair assessment of it.

By this logic there's no reason Kobe should've had after what he did his first two seasons or Jermaine O'Neal after 6 seasons

Again if we're grading a player you do so off of what they show you now. Their potential is another discussion. So if say a player makes a team better it based on their current production levels.
