Following 2016 potential draftees

How does Chriss manage only 5.4 rebounds in 24.9 minutes of play? That's REALLY bad given his size and athleticism.
I think that's a legit concern, but maybe not as bad as it seems. Translates to about 8 per 36. Still not great, but not terrible.

Absolutely love his 3pt stroke for a guy 6'10" with freakish athleticism.

Besides the rebounding, another concern I have is why he played just 24 minutes a game. If you're a team like UW, and you are fighting for a NCAA berth, needing to win every game, and if he's that good, why only 24? Freshmen these days are playing big minutes, so I'm not sure that's an excuse.

I sort of agree that he looks like a top 5 pick, but he's not without some concern.

Watching highlight videos of furkan, chriss, luwawaw (whatever his name is) and Richardson it seems to me that richardson is the best shooter of the bunch (I have not looked at stats though, I'm just going off the highlight videos).

I think we need an elite three point shooter more than anything. (Though chriss athleticism looks elite and I'm a sucker for flashy dunks)

Of those 4 guys who do you guys think is the best shooter? Best defender? Best ball handler? Who has the best size/length?
Best shooter: Richardson (he's streaky though)

Best handles: Richardson (definitely the best at creating off the dribble of that group IMO)

Best size/length: Richardson (7'0 wingspan for a SG, plus he's already well built for a freshman at 200 lbs... just looks bigger overall to me than Luwawu who is also in the discussion)

Best athlete: Chriss (he had a 39" vertical and it obviously translates in game; one of the stand out athletes of the draft)

Best defender: Luwawu (seems to take pride in defense and is supposedly very long and has good lateral movement; he full court presses in his league)

After some scouting on Luwawu looks like he shot pretty well from deep (43% on catch-and-shoot) and I might be missing something but Luwawu has the same measurements as Richardson but is also taller.

I don't see it in Furkan. His spot-up shot is obviously pretty pure, but I'm not buying his handle and ability to create. His change-of-speed moves look meh. And defense looks like it'll be an uphill battle.

He is still 18 and already playing pro ball though.

Richardson is my guy then. I really want buddy but thats a pipe dream.

I would like to get ullis in the 2nd round too if all at possible.

Ulis won't be a world beater, but he will make everyone on the team a tad better. Elite leader.
I really like him. Neto mack and ullis would be a good battle for backup pg.
Only problem is I assume that neto and Mack are under contract next year and I don't see them carrying 4 pg's

I really like him.

Fish.

This is the game Calipari got ejected only one minute into the game. The assistants backed off and gave the game to sophomore Ulis to call every play, handle the substitutions, etc.
Highlights from that game. Worth the watch. All of it.

If didn't see him play very much but when I did I saw a player who could get to his spots on the court pretty easy (probably my favorite thing about him), was an ok shooter, good bbiq and decision maker, and seemed to have a calm and cool demeaner during the flow of the game (one of the things I love about burks the most. Doesn't get too up or down during the game. Not much hanging his head after a bad play or beating his chest after a good one)

Korkmaz is the best shooter of that bunch and it's not close, he's been shooting >40% for the last 2 years in pro ball and >40% in almost all international competitions. Richardson shot 37% from the field FFS. When you take away his at the basket shots, he's 31% shooter on all jumpshots. That's horrible.

Valentine was a really good shooter too right? He offers a lot. I don't even know what to think of all these draft guys lol.

Korkmaz doesn't do it on a high number of attempts and his form is strange IMO. That doesn't mean he's not a good shooter, but it makes me suspicious. He doesn't follow through; he sort of flicks the ball. But if it goes in, it goes in.

Richardson shot 41% from deep on an extremely high number of attempts after January 1. I think he's the streakiest of the bunch, but he also shows the best ability to shoot off the dribble; the types of 3s he makes are often very difficult (step backs off the dribble with a defender in his face; he also took a fair amount of 3s from far behind the line).

Luwawu shoots the best combination of % and sample size, but he's much more methodical on his form and think he's behind Kork and Malachi in his ability to shoot off the dribble.

Going straight off the numbers in any aspect isn't the way to project players' translation to the NBA. Stats shouldn't be ignored, but they only tell part of the story.
