So if this draft sucks then does the cba allow for trading players for picks in a future draft that projects to be much better?

Well, yeah, you can always trade for future picks. But salaries would still have to match and all that.

This year salaries matching won't matter that much, because most teams have enough space to absorb pretty much any salary in the league.
 
Kork is staying in the draft. Many places reporting that he was going to pull his name out because this year he performed well below his abilities.

so far looks like all the big names are staying in the draft including one of my favorite potential second round picks Rade Zagorac. Ford seems to have the best updates right now.

that might be a good business model. Good way to have great stream of talents on your team and good way to showcase them all at the same place and at the same time.

Definitely, I know he has Mushidi line up already for next season. He will probably be a first round pick when he comes out.
 
Locke said in his podcast today that Ante Zizic might be higher than Ellenson and Skal on Jazz board? His order of the bigs would be:

Poeltl, Davis, Sabonis, Ellenson, Skal,(Zizic), Thon Maker and he said he might throw Zizic above Skal and Ellenson.
 
I watched the videos of Zizic, I would've placed him higher than he has been mocked.

Also, I'm surprised Kabba took his name out (again, but happy two of my favorite stash players are still in so far.

But we can't absorb salary until after the draft right.. that's when the new year would kick in?

This is where an unguaranteed large contract would have been a great idea last year... instead of punting on free agency.
