KD to GSW... I hate those guys

I laugh at players now days. What happened to hard work? To competition, to rivalries, to pride? I always saw Durant as one of the hard working bust your *** types. I guess I was wrong...

what a loser. joins the team that beat you. team that you almost beat. lol biggest loser in nba history

Will be interesting to see the chemistry. Only one ball.
Talk about a tough team to guard though... wow.

Which makes it important to have good one-on-one defenders and a great help defender in the middle. I like the Jazz's chances against GS as much as anyone has in the West...

But damn ... Durant!

So when GSM wins 69 games, we conclude that Durant = Barnes? Not sure I see the upside for KD.

He thought he would be taking pressure off of himself, but everyone expects a championship from him every year now.

Is this even possible payrollwise?

Not only is it possible, but with Love and Cousins' deals, they will have room for one more max deal. If your Hayward, do you stay in Utah or do you go join that team in LA?

I'd take Westbrook, Hayward, Love, Cousins over GS. Cousins would be the best player on the court. Westbrook and Curry are a wash. Cousins is a lot better than Green than Durrant over Hayward. Thompson is better than Love but not by as much as people think.

I wish I could like the Lakers. They are so freaking lucky.

You want to level the playing field? Get rid of max deals. Then you have to pay LeBron, Steph and Durrant 60% of the cap and they can't sign more than one.
Yep, I've been saying this for years.

I never really disliked Lebron but now I'm all in on him taking down this giant. At the moment he is the best chance the league has against gsw.

I think there is a big difference.

He joined an established core that has already won a ring. Lebron joined a Heat team that was past it's good years and added Bosh (who also wasnt winning much).

I think the biggest thing people have a problem with is that the Thunder where up 3-1 on the Warriors and Durant choked teh series away in the clutch minutes of game 6. Now he is going to join the team that he lost to.

Definitely some pussification going on from a competitive standpoint.

IMO his move was not about a championship, but wanting that big-city lifestyle and a guaranteed championship to go with it. Maybe he just wanted a change of scenery and a more comfortable lifestyle without as much pressure to perform.

Where you gonna put a yacht in OK?

Our goal needs to be top 6 seed. That way we can (likely) avoid the Dubs and Spurs in the first round. Everyone else is beatable and if we could win a series this season, that would HUGE going forward, especially as the Spurs, Grizz and Clips age.

This is a dark day for NBA basketball.

The only upside I see is that it just severely weakened that bitch Kanter's chance at a ring.

Too much going on... they're gonna crash.

Curry, Thompson, Durrant, Green, *insert 4 or 5 here*

This smells like the Lakers that had Karl Malone. I'm just gonna hope that's the case.
