Does Jazzfanz Have a Rec Basketball Team?

Does Jazzfanz have or has it ever thought of organizing a team for a rec league? I have seen posts of guys meeting up to play but never have seen anything about an organized team.

I doubt anyone on this site can ball. Archie Moses could back in the day but he's a ****ing cripple now.

I'd be down for sure, I play 3-4 nights a week at magna rec but have been wanting to get a rec team going.

Men's leagues are fun til you play the team loaded with former professional and D-1 college players. I wish I was 6' tall so I could join a 6' and under league.

This is pretty much every rec league ive played in. It goes from fun to feeling like a pile of **** in about 8 minutes.

Or you run into a team that fouls the **** out of you then proceeds to call touch fouls on the other end.

Jazzfanz jerseys with each member's username on the back. Tour the country playing other NBA team's message boards. Now that would be a documentary.

I used to play in an under 6ft league and it was so much fun. I'm on the border of that height and have long arms. Being able to play in the post was fun. Lead the league in blocks, back when I had great hops.

I would gladly play if someone organized it. It's fun to get out and play. Basketball followed by an optional beer somewhere sounds like a great evening.

The leagues in SLC have former pros playing?

Check the rules before you join a league. Some will say "No former professionals allowed" or they will say "you have to be X number of years removed from college play or professional play".

If it's a money league, you bet there will be very good players. I'm not talking guys who had long careers overseas type of dudes, but people who went over for a year or two and couldnt cut it and had to come back.
