No. I don't think he should be in the same category as Bill Cosby, but I'm sure he's been a creepy lecherous guy. Many powerful men are (e.g. Roger Ailes). Donald Trump isn't far behind, although as far as I know only his ex-wife has accused him of rape.

IF you are so worried about how people earn their money, what about Trump University? At least the groups of people got what they paid for and that was a speech from Hillary.
 
I've always considered myself republican. But, the republican party is broken. My biggest gripe with the party is they haven't done anything since Clinton and Gingrich teamed up and actually did some pretty great stuff.

Now, their whole platform is "oppose Democrats". That's it. They've had power in Congress for years now...not one change to Obamacare. Not one change to foreign policy. Not one change to the banking system.

What exactly have republicans done for the last 5+ years? Anything?

That's my issue. What the republican party is today..it's broken. It's a bunch of poor, racist people running around blaming everyone else for all their problems and a couple rich white guys getting those poor people all riled up with soundbites and fluff.

At least Hillary is trying to do something. At least Bernie is trying to fix somethings.

They controlled the House first. The Senate came later. During all this time there was Dem president and the Rs did not have veto proof majorities. The dynamics of the gov and sheer #s hindered many of the Rs desires.

having said that, yes they are broken, yes they are a failure. I'm not really interested in defending them. Just point out a relevant fact IMO.

This makes me sick. And I'm inclined to believe it is likely because of how Trump talks about women anyway.

There are so many men that just do not get it. I am old and fat and unhealthy, and I just had to have a conversation this week with a male coworker about sexual harassment and his inappropriate behavior towards me. When does it end? When I'm dead?

While I agree with that, my perception of the Republican-led Congress has been that their sole focus has been to block any legislation put forward by the Democrats while not attempting to pass much of their own. I don't follow it closely enough to know if my perception is at all accurate because I usually only hear the stories of contention.

But I have been listening to the Republican speeches blaming Obama and Clinton for everything and thinking that they, to a large degree, share in the blame.

I agree with that perception. I think they partly focused on blocking legislation instead of passing their own because they knew they couldn't get it through.

I'm tired of excuses. Do SOMETHING. They have done NOTHING. There hasn't been one change to Obamacare that they could have negotiated and fixed? You are telling me that all Democrats LOVE Obamacare and wouldn't want to fix anything?

Come on now. They have done NOTHING. Except pass Democrat policies, which is the funniest thing of all. They whine and spit and complain but because they have no plan, at the end of the day they vote for whatever the democrats put in front of them.

It's pathetic to watch.

Hard to disagree with this.

Which is why Trump could potentially be the best thing for conservatives. If this doesn't force us to change, then nothing will.
 
What really ticked me off is how once Obama is president, they start complaining about estate tax laws.

YOU HAD 8 YEARS TO SET UP WHATEVER POLICY YOU WANTED AND YOU DIDN'T DO IT!! We have guys who are scared to vote against party line because of the wrath they might get from it. What a crock of ****. Bunch of worthless politicians.

Yes, horrifying. The only reason I can imagine we haven't heard about it until now is that his political opponents were waiting to use it to take him down. If true they will definitely succeed, and they should.

Come on where? I am not defending them. They do suck. They are broken. It is a sad, silly spectacle.

Agreed, we'll see how this story evolves. It would be a great disappointment if true.
 
I found an area where I like the vagueness I am hearing from his camp.

Women in the workforce and pay disparities. Specifically Ivanka's speech.
