So I got pretty bored today and made this:

Nothing special, but I do have to say I'm really excited about this season. If our *potential* starting lineup are all taller than 6'6 we have a long, and super tall team. Mostly I just can't wait to see Gobert lay down some sweet blocks. Not sure where I was going with this but enjoy.

Nice work supfellas, except for the fact that according to pre-draft measurements, Hood is slightly taller than Hayward. Hood is 6'7.25 without shoes and 6'8.5 with them; as Hayward is 6'6.75 without and 6'8" with shoes. Curiously, even though Exum was just 6'6 in shoes at the draft combine, he had the same standing reach that Hayward and Hood, 8'7.

By the way, I think we should take this opportunity to remember the actual measurements.

As Exum, Burks is 6'6 in shoes and his standing reach is in the same neighborhood, 8'7.5. Joe Johnson has the exactly same height as Hayward, but a higher standing reach, 8'9.

Neto is slightly shorter than Hill (6'2 and 6'2.5 in shoes, respectivelly), has a much smaller wingspan (6'4 versus 6'9), but, curiously, both have the same standing reach (8'1.5).

Lyles and Favors have the same height (6'10.25 in shoes) but not the same standing reach (9'0 and 9'2, respectivelly).

Gobert is actually 7'2 in shoes.

How badass would we be if we go even bigger and throw Hayward at the 2 and Joe Johnson at the 3? And draft a 3 next year who has like a 7'0" wingspan and 9'0" standing reach.
Lyles at 3!
Better yet, pleiss at the 5, Gobert at the 4, withey at the 3, lyles/gobert at the 2, lyles/Hayward at point guard.

lots of good info! thanks for the corrections. I guess I was looking at the measurements of hood without shoes and Hayward with shoes when I made this. I'll make sure to look at the official heights next time.

Good thread btw supfellas.
Much appreciated

Hill will start, but while he's shorter, his wingspan is the same as Exum and he's a better athlete.

Much more important: Hill is a much better player at this point. Exum is "just" a long and athletic guard, with good defensive awareness, who has tons of potential but has yet to really polish his game and is coming from a major knee surgery. He is still very young and raw.

By reading some of the things that people say about him at this forum, one might think that Exum is a quasi all-star which is certainly not the case at all. I would be very happy with Exum if this next season he remained injury-free by playing 15-20 minutes per game, got some experience, and improved his offensive arsenal beyond simply taking outside shots. The following season, though, I think it would be reasonable to expect much more from him.

Crap, I came back to this thread and saw my posts were deleted. Are we not allowed to make penis jokes anymore?

Are you saying your made a joke about a penis, which was subsequently deleted but you did not receive a warning/ infraction for it?
