What's new

Never Trump

That is what I find funny. Culture created Trump with their belly aching and now they hate their own artwork.

Loving this as well. Republicans and their various support systems spend 8 years doing everything they can demonizing Obama specifically and the left in general - he's not an American, he's a Muslim, he's a socialist, he hates our country, etc... And then wonder why they're stuck with this type of constituency that nominates the loudest most obnoxious one of them.

It's like the rabid cat is out of the bag and they have no clue how to get it back in.

Good, it's a dumb thing but it is real.

So why express frustration with someone that sees it and knows it exists? Shouldn't it be a good thing that people are aware of it and try to prevent themselves from being part of it? Generally speaking.

Are you even serious right now? NAOS was never really furious. I'm laughing so hard at this.

His original comment about your political analysis meant to be mocking what he sees as simplistic views (sorry, I like you, and I respect you, but I gotta explain to you what's going on). Your response asking him about what he disagreed with kind of missed the point, so he mockingly responded with the momentum part. He picked that at random. He could have picked any other part of your post. He's just making fun. He's not furious about anything.

Not really. Perhaps I did miss the point but I was aware he was mocking and not really mad. But in mocking he revealed something that he doesn't agree with on some level so I asked why. I just went with what he was laying down.

As for simplistic views. I don't feel the need to post in depth on most subjects. So yeah the vast majority of my posts don't provide to much depth on here.

The Secret Service has apparently been in touch with the Trump campaign regarding the candidate's comments:

(CNN)A US Secret Service official confirms to CNN that the USSS has spoken to the Trump campaign regarding his Second Amendment comments.

"There has been more than one conversation" on the topic, the official told CNN.
The campaign told USSS Donald Trump did not intend to incite violence.

"No such meeting or conversation ever happened," Trump tweeted in response to CNN's report.

The conservatives bug the hell out of me but I get their position as much as I get the opposite.

How do we do the same destruction to the rabid left with their wide sweeping generalizations, bleeding hearts about damn near everything, unwillingness to accept any for of personal accountability, programs designed to tug on the hearts of the poor but do nothing or enhance the rich (i.e. student debt) etc?

I want a party that wants to target specific problematic areas, not one that is pro-this or pro-that 100%. For example, why instead of calling me a gun toting hick, why don't we have a party willing to invade Louisiana (the highest murder rate state in the US) and clean it up with targeted stimulus?

I hope to see something like this redevelop in my lifetime. We have had targeted programs in the past but those days are behind us for now.

So Trump called Obama "the founder of Isis" and "crooked Hillary co-founder of Isis".

He also stated that "ISIS is honoring Obama". And emphasized the President's middle name repeatedly. Surrogates in recent weeks have been revisiting the birther lie, so no surprise I guess. Apparently he prefers to rally the conspiracy nuts at this stage of the campaign. Brilliant. Sometimes I think he may really be the Manchurian candidate.

Above link has video clips of his comments. Really as reprehensible as it gets when you realize he's essentially saying our President is the leader of ISIS....

"ISIS is honoring President Obama. He is the founder of ISIS. He is the founder of ISIS, okay? He's the founder. He founded ISIS."

Uh Huh, OK....

I would say the creation of ISIS is a combined effort by Muslims and Western leaders going back at least a century.

I'm working on a theory that the Gen X and Millennial cohorts should be renamed something in the shadow of the anti-Vietnam War Baby Boomers. It seems fitting given the widespread war fatigue and anti-world policing comments by citizens of the largest superpower.

I almost sympethize with your world-policing perspective. The West IS better than those horrible dictatorial regimes in the ME. Spreading Western ideals WOULD be better than what they currently have. But military intervention has been a certified disaster.

There gotta be a better way.

I'm not much for world policing but I certainly see the point of our military leaders conducting that campaign. I don't agree with nation building, at all. The wild card for me is nukes, and isolating enemies with defensive strategies is a no brainer.

I don't have any answers but there gotta be a better way.

Siro I 100% agree on the cause of this problem

I also agree with you and franklin on there has to be a better way.

Also no nation building. Nope, no thanks.
