I know honz has one too, but I forget his handle. Twitter is confusing as hell and seems pointless.
 
yeh i though it sounded pointless unless you are some celebrity stalker freak. forget it peeps.
 
i'm following you prodigy, you're the kind of twit I like - you don't say much

I stalk more than I follow - - esp. if it's someone who puts out lots of tweets, it's easier to read their stuff on their own page than to have it cluttering up your page
 
@honzinator, but I haven't used it lately. Sometimes I binge tweet when I am bored or watching a game by myself, but that's about it.

Following those who put their names here now.

So it's entirely possible that I tweet more than most. I get bored at work and will use it for venting gripes or making snap judgments about my customers.

Mostly though, I just follow a **** ton of sports, movie and video game journalists and video game industry types. The local sports media guys are especially entertaining, and interact with their followers more than most.

It's pretty useful to follow journalists when there's breaking news happening. When Sloan has his post-Bulls game blow up and decided to call it quits, most of the tidbits that we had were coming from Twitter.
 
I am like Honz in that I binge tweet. I usually have Twitter going on a tab, but rarely tweet. It was through Twitter how I found out that Deron was traded, so it can be useful. Or it can be used to waste a lot of time binging on important stuff like #utahjazzmovies or #changelovetolubesongs with @LostTacoVendor.

People like loggrad, who've had a successful family life and are severely university educated... probably don't need Facebook unless they're looking for some old high school crush poon tang.

But someone like Sloanfeld who has proved his ineptitude at-- as proven by his posting record-- analytical thinking, social courtesy, and logic. Could probably use a vector such as "facebook" to gain some experience IRL, without going out into the big bad world
