Sure hope you Broncos fan enjoyed that SB win cuz it's going to be a frustrating year thinking you're SB worthy and can't score more than 14 ppg.

As a bronco hater, how is what u said any different then last year's team? Payton was down right putrid. That team won on the backs of that defense. I bet the qb play will be as good if not better then last year.

Manning had the worst qbr of starters last season if memory serves.

That said, the Broncos aren't winning it. My money would be on the Seahawks or Cards with the Chiefs as a relatively big sleeper.

Defenses still had to respect Peyton regardless of his decline, Simiean won't get any. Broncos will be lucky to go 7-9 imo. Last year was an anomaly for the Broncos, they lucked into the number 1 seed and the team got hot at the right time (credit to them), they were not lucky to win the SB or any of the other playoff games they won, they won those. But it won't translate to this season and the fans will expect a SB caliber team and they're not that.

I can understand being skeptical of the broncos, but 7-9? With yhat defense? Come on man you`s trollin.

Broncos O-Line has gotta be better. Imma be pissed if they are as ****ty as last year. That is the biggest problem by far.

Siemian sucks, but I don't think he'll be any worse than last year's QB tbh. Manning was awful last year. But if their offensive line isn't much improved then the offense will be terrible again. They also had really good luck last year, and I don't think they'll be quite as stout against the run this season. I would be ecstatic if they won the division again. Anything can happen in the playoffs with the playmakers they have on defense.

Dunno why anyone would wanna put money on the Cheifs or Cardinals to win it all even as big sleepers. Alex Smith and Carson Palmer cannot win a Super Bowl with those teams.

This year the Broncos will actually be running the Kubiak offense and not a hodge-podge offense to try and suit Manning. It will be a run oriented defense that eats up the clock. They have brought in personnel at RB, fullback and on the O Line that fit this game. This will give the defense time to rest. The Broncos have good depth through out the defense.

As mentioned earlier the Broncos won it all last year with some of the worst QB play in the league. This year the QB play will probably be better and all they really need to do is avoid mistakes.

Broncos win their division, are probably the 3rd seed and win one playoff game but get knocked out in the 2nd round IMO.

When even the Broncos haters pan your post you might want to take a second look.

Looking at the other good AFC teams I hope it is Broncos or an NFC team that win it all.

I have a hard time seeing Simean as being better than Manning. Seems like wishful thinking, tbh. Manning certainly struggled, but at least he could read a defense. I don't think a sub par college QB will be able to do that very well.

Thankfully they have moved away from a pass heavy offense. The run game will return in huge fashion in Denver. All Siemian needs to do is not make mistakes and make just enough passes to keep the defense honest. Thankfully the two primary receivers in Denver are Thomas and Sanders.

I agree that there will be some struggles, I expect Lynch to take over before the end of the season.

This guy completed over 60% of his passes once in 4 years, and threw 3 more TD's than interceptions over his career, and he'll probably be better than Manning? I love Bronco fans.

I could see Lynch doing well since he fits Kubiaks system well, but Siemian? Dudes a bum.

All he needs to do is not make mistakes?! He had a 1.125:1 TD:INT ratio in the ****ty Big 10. Something tells me NFL defenses might be a touch more difficult to read.

Saying all he needs to do is not make mistakes is like saying all Cy needs to do is not be a contrarian. It's highly unlikely.

In 2015 Manning was terrible. he threw 9 TDs to 17 Ints, completed 59.8 % of his passes, threw for 1,500 yards less than any other season in his career, had the lowest QBR of his career at 45.0 and a rating of 67.9 which is also a career low.

2015 Manning was not special. He could read D but couldn't throw well enough to do anything with that info.

You're right, just being named starter is a success for him personally but if he starts all season and keeps Lynch on the bench and keep the fans from calling his name would be a great success.
