Game Thread Preseason Utah Jazz vs LA Clippers 10-10-16

I'm sorry were you trying to aim at gaining likes, rep, a laugh? Exum fell and his hand came downward as a result. I was completely sober. Dante really played like a child out there. He made a lucky move. My final say.

Still bummed that you don't get to watch Trey jack up his 33 % FG attempts ad nauseam huh ??

Exum got smacked in the face by Crawfords elbow the first play, then put his nose right back in there two more times to stop penetration. The strip was almost irrelevent, he forced each play into being an out of control offensive more with his ability to stay with or in front of his man.

Pretty sure that he started to help him up. I believe he did grab his hand and start to pull him up. Bolomboy came in and grabbed Exum's upper arm and pulled him up from there and Crawford let go at some point in there.
Ok i watched it again. He never did grab Exum's hand but i think he would have if Bolomboy hadn't stepped in to do it.

By the time Bolomboy got there he had turned around and was walking away. Not a big deal though. I just thought it looked bad for Crawford.

This is idiotic. "Lucky" is Crawford getting an open shot off and having him miss. Turning over both Rivers and Crawford in the final minute without allowing a shot isn't luck. It is playing lights out defense. Also note that those guys aren't d leaguers. . .

In the short-run it's all about luck. In the long-run there's no such thing as luck.

Exum's a fantastic defender.

If and when we end up in situations in the regular season where we need a stop to win or to send the game to OT, Exum should be on the court.

Sir please you're about as str8 as George Michael and Jason Collins are in a hot elevator together.

Alone.

Hill
Exum
Hayward
Favors
Gobert (or Diaw depending on the match ups)

How's that for a defensive 5 to close games?

Lock down bitchesssssssssssssssssssssssssss

It isn't easy but I've made that exact play in games... call I luck I guess, but it's not like it's a unicorn.

His lateral movement was great and as stated above the refs could have easily called it a charge.

never said it was that lucky. But more often or not a foul is called when u try to slap at the ball in someone's hand as they are about to shoot and to make things more difficult, he was falling away

Depends on how good you are IMHO. Look at how often Andre Iguodala gets away with (more or less) clean strips? It's not just a crap shot, even though the refs will get it wrong from time to time.
