I warned everyone Exum going off against 3rd string scrubs was no indication of what he'd look like in a real NBA game.

Exum is just a nervous wreck. He's going to be too scared to go inside, and if he does shoot anything he's going to be so nervous he'll clank it.
 
Seriously though, Snyder needs to stick up for his players better than that. Jerry would have gotten a tech after that Hill mugging just after mid court.
 
Exum needs to be aggressive and look to shoot when he is in the paint. His not shooting is forcing guys to force bad shots near the end of the shot clock. You could see the frustrated look on Diaw's face. I hope they talk to him during halftime.

He seemed fairly aggressive when he came in. He went straight up the middle of the D. It's not like his rookie year when he hid in the corner. Lyles looked nervous played through it. Let Exum play too.
 
chill with the Exum hate, those few minutes were ruined because of Diaw's ignorance of the shotclock, Dante was just deferring which looks like it was in the gameplan.
 
Lyles is killing the Jazz by being afraid to shoot the open 3. The one three he makes is the one he has to shoot. It shouldn't have to be that way. He's a good shooter, hard for bigs to get out to him and he needs to let it fly from distance. way too many of those ridiculous pump fakes - about 1 out of 5 of which resulted in a positive play.
