What's new

GT: Jazz @ Sixers | Nov. 7, 2016 | 5pm MDT

How has philly lived in the lottery for so long and have so little to show for it? This team doesn't even look talented. Aside from Embiid and Okafor, this team really sucks. Okafor looks like Big Al to me.

With worse defense. Totally clueless on the floor. Like he was never taught defense at all. And doesn't give a crap about it.

Was at the game and talked to a bunch of Sixers fans. They really want him moved, but who wants another big who can't protect the rim in this league where you have 4 shooters and 1 rim protector? I shared the Kanter analogy.

He seemed to be playing defense without purpose. Trying too hard. Out of control.

I think he is learning exactly what the NBA refs are going to let him get away with. It must be frustrating because it varies from game to game depending upon his opponent. Hopefully he can one day get the Bruce Bowen card that allows him to manhandle his opponent without any repercussion.

Mack made the board stfu right ?

Other than people giving him some love, ya.
Basically when players play good they get praise or silence. When they play bad they get criticized. Makes sense to me.

I'm old enough to remember people on this board saying that Chandler Parsons was the better player.

Sadly I'm old enough to remember this as well. In fact, I'm sure if I had the time or was interested in doing so, I'm sure I could find several of my posts calling idiots, idiots for thinking something so damn idiotic.

Was at the game with my son. We sat in front of Bolerjack and Harpring during their pre-game work, wearing Gobert and Favors jerseys. They were very friendly, pointing to us and giving a peace sign (Matty) and a double thumbs up (Bolerjack). My son got a big kick out of this, which was nice.

It seems that the Jazz do a good job finding decent and friendly people across their organization. Some announcers would be much more snooty and self-absorbed.
