College Basketball 16-17

Awful start for Cal and Ivan Rabb vs SDSU. their getting punked.. Aztecs beating them to the punch for the entire 1st half.

Utah State plays #17 Purdue tonight. 6:30. CBSSN. I don't know that USU can hang in the post, but they've got some good wing players that could make the game interesting.

Koby McEwen should be able to slice them up. They can't let Haas get going early tho.

So Oregon football team gets really unique jerseys and the basketball team gets practice jerseys?

CU's Derrick White is ****ting on UT in all facets of the game. Glad I've got him in the 2nd rd already, he looks extremely dangerous with the ball in his hands.

Only seen him in 2 games because he's a D-2 transfer. Gotta say he reminds me of Jazz 2nd rd pick Olivier Hanlan, except 6'5" and a bit more in control...

That kid is a legit force to be reckoned with!! I'm convinced he'll lead them into the top-25 and a decent seed in the tournament...

he's got some Rodney Hood to his game off the dribble. It's early, but he's my Pascal Siakam of the the 2017 draft!

If he doesn't get drafted he'll get a better than average UDFA contract, and there will be competition to sign him.

Fort Wayne(2-2) is up at halftime 38-36 vs Indiana. Somehow their getting outrebounded... that wont last.

1 rebound and 1 steal for Anunoby and thats it.

LSU is embarrassing themselves on national tv, on a pee'd your pants type level. Blakeney's been atrocious.

Wichita St is making them look like HS kids, they look like a good 3pt shooting team..

Markis McDuffie looks like a legit prospect, he comes off the bench but a So. 6'8" wing with nice shooting form and some skills.

He's the worst coach ever. Couldn't even make the tourney with Blakeney, Simmons, and others..

It's ****ing uncanny, I'm mystified. It's so bizarre Sportscenter should do Rod Serling/Twilight Zone style opening monologues for LSU's lowlights.

I can;t help but think some of those kids are getting a raw deal over this.. Obviously they signed up for it but still. It's well past the point of excessive at this point..

Marcus LoVett was as volatile of any HS player (rankings wise) as I can recall, He pretty much went from the outhouse, to the penthouse and then back again... and he was ruled ineligible for last season which should've been his freshman year..

This mix from February 2013 has 6.5MM views and he's got several other mixes with millions of views..

He's balling right now vs MSU though and he's really quick about 6'1" with hops . His #'s early this season are monstrous and totally unsustainable (he;s shooting 50% from 3 on 7 attempts per), certainly a player to watch.

I love that Arizona struggles with Santa Clara every year. Santa Clara has one guy that you really need to lock down and they never can.

#24 MSU melting down in the 2nd half vs Wichita St. It's a 3pt game with 4½ to go on ESPN2.

Shockers best prospect McDuffie hasn't shot it well..

A woman who was involved in an extramarital affair with former Wisconsin men's basketball coach Bo Ryan has filed a federal lawsuit against several top university officials, alleging defamation, invasion of privacy and deprivation of due process.

Details of the lawsuit were first reported by the Wisconsin State Journal.

The complaint, filed in federal court in Madison on Wednesday by Robin Van Ert, claims that the university conducted a "sham" investigation after Van Ert brought them allegations that Ryan misused school resources during their affair, from 2009 until 2014.

Van Ert also claims the officials violated her privacy rights by publicly revealing her identity when they released a 2015 email in which Van Ert detailed the affair and accused Ryan of misconduct.

The complaint states, in part: "As a direct and proximate result of defendants' actions, Van Ert has suffered severe emotional and physical distress and illness, loss of privacy, harm to her reputation, loss of business and has incurred substantial damages and legal fees."

Van Ert, 42, is seeking compensatory and punitive damages, as well as attorney fees.

The lawsuit is against Chancellor Rebecca Blank, athletic director Barry Alvarez and six other school officials. Ryan is not being sued.

University spokesman John Lucas, who also is named as a defendant, declined to comment on the suit Wednesday.

Ryan, who retired abruptly in December, was cleared by Wisconsin in March after the school's investigation concluded there was "insufficient basis to warrant" any punishment.

Ryan acknowledged the affair with Van Ert, though he told ESPN in March that the affair was "absolutely unrelated" to his retirement.
