It is just showing that, on top of our propensity to always eat too much, we have special days where we can do so without feeling like big fat slobs about it. Sure, I can eat 2 big macs and a double filet o fish with extra mac and tartar sauce and I am a disgusting pig, but on Thanksgiving I can eat 6 pounds of potatoes stuffing and Turkey and then just sit back, undo the belt, and belch and everyone belches right along with me. Isn't America great!!
