What's new

2016 NBA Season Notes/Info

Looks like Kemba Walker and Jeremy Lamb was the Hornets starting backcourt today. that's cool

Looks like Trey Burke is headed for bustville and probably Europe next year. He has recorded 3 DNPs out of the last four games and in his last five games has totalled 11 minutes and two points. And he said the Jazz were trying to break him, well the Pistons have busted him in two.

Isn't he on the Wizards?

Well weren't we discussing Trey Burke? I think McCollum was available when we took Burke wasn't he?

True. But I dislike this hindsight 20/20 stuff. We don't even know if the Blazers would've preferred Burke over McCollum had both been available for them.

It's only really a discussion if your team is an outlier, meaning they either nail the best player question almost always or **** it up in the most horrible way with consistency.

The Jazz seem to identify and develop talent consistently, but they rarely identify the one who becomes the best...I think we're a good draft team, but not superb.
A team that's horrible with young players are the Mavericks. If you look at their last 5-6 year and what they've traded away on rookie deals, conceded in assets and how some players blossomed after leaving Dallas, it can easily make you feel nauseatic.

Speaking of injuries...

Cousins had an x-ray that revealed a BROKEN middle finger on his shooting hand.
Played anyway.
