Rockets @ Jazz gamethread

That last Gobert block....holy moly that was ****ing great. And I'll take 16/14/3 any day of the week.

Even when Hill has a subpar game there's something about his leadership on the floor that brings this team together. Frankly, as much as I like other players on this team if the Jazz just keep a core of Hayward/Rudy/Hill/Lyles I'll be pretty happy, though I'd like to see Favors and Hood a part of that as well. I really hope Exum picks it up, but I'm worrying just a tiny bit now. Still he's really young and has plenty of time.

On another note I really detest Beverly. I wish he'd get clocked good in a game once.

Too bad this is the only Rockets visit to Salt Lake. I've never seen a more chucking lousy defensive team in my life, though it seems to work for them more often than not. Still, that's a team destined to get whipped in the playoffs if they make it.

And on a totally unrelated note, that JR Smith play today was hysterical. I couldn't stop laughing when I first saw it. What a clown.

It's always more enjoyable to be here when you can discuss both good and bad, not just good.

Absolutely, and sorry if it seems like I was singling you out, that wasn't my intention. My gripe is not with discussing the bad or having negative opinions about what the Jazz are doing but how many go about it. When the Jazz are playing poorly it tends to bring the worst out in posters that are usually great. There's volatility and irrationality to a lot of the posts during rough stretches that's really comical is all I'm saying. Probably won't change which I'm fine with but those posters should be able to handle the razzing (in good fun) that they deserve when they come with there ultimatum heat-seeking turds for posts.

Beverley has this thing for knocking the ball out of dudes hands when it's a dead ball situation or waiting at the free throw line. I'm really hoping it pushes someones buttons bad enough one day for them to punch his lights out

Clutchfans gamethread is a good read if you like tears(I do)

If I hear ****ing Hood's name ****ing one more time I'm going to throw my ****ing projector out the ****ing window.
If both teams are healthy we won't beat the Jazz again this year with this team.

They can guard Harden with athleticism and they can stay on our 3pt shooters....and they have that monster in the middle to stop the drives.

We are toast against them this season.
I want a whole schedule of the Knicks, Blazers, and Mavs:(
Jazz elite defense shutting our gimmicky offense down. Better hope we don't play them in the 1st round of the Playoffs.
We have been under performing in magnificent fashion.

Ooh there ya go. When all else fails, DICK PUNCHES!

I haven't even gotten to the 4th quarter yet

It's soooo yummy!

The most important thing about Hill is that Hayward isnt on the ball all game. Hayward looks a lot more energetic in the 4th quarter as a result and gets a lot more easy baskets just making hard cuts to the rim off ball.

his Cut Game is much improved this year.

Great game high fives all around. I will miss Hood though condolences to his family and loved ones.

One of my favorite plays in the game was around 4:30 in the fourth quarter. Hill sets a screen for Hayward and just wipes out the much larger Dekker. Dude plays with a physicality we've missed at the point guard spot.

I don't know if this has been mentioned, but Gobert is leading the league in FG% at 63.4%

Some fun random stats.

George Hill is leading the league in Offensive rating.
Rudy is leading the league in field goal percentage (just ahead of Capella) and is third in defensive rating.

(according to basketball-reference.com)

I don't know if this has been mentioned, but Gobert is leading the league in FG% at 63.4%

Front page news bro.

4 Game losing streak questioning Quin, Hayward, Lyles, and the future.

4 game win streak we are elite, Quin is a mastermind, Lyles is a breakout star, Hayward is an all star, etc

from cluchfans....

"That flat slob Diaw should be allowed to wear a black jersey in every game. It's more slimming. Rodney Hood looks like a character from Fat Albert and the Cosby Kids."
