Friday Night Lights

Friday Night Lights is probably the greatest TV show ever. It's just so good and very well thought out. Great characters and actors that fit them perfectly. I wish it would have went on longer but the finale was amazing. Anybody else love this show? If you haven't seen it I recommend you do whenever you get the chance. You won't regret it at all.

I will put it next on my list of shows to watch after I'm done watching Shameless.

I have binge watched a whole bunch of shows from start to finish that I never got a chance to watch when they were actually airing and my favorite is Justified.

So check that out if you get a chance.

Shameless is probably my second favorite so far btw.

My girlfriend literally binged watched the entire Season 1 of Shameless and part of Season 2 in one night the other day. She loves it.

I binge watched this show a few years ago and it was pretty good. They had some awful seasons in the middle though. The season with the cover up for the guy dying was so bad. It was also amusing that we assumed the first season some of the kids were seniors and then season two I was like okay I guess they could have been juniors the first season. Then season three rolls around and that was like WTF those kids were supposed to be sophmores... So stupid.

Those are just a couple small gripes though to an overall good show. No where near the level of some great shows like Breaking Bad but that is my opinion. Futurama was an okay show it got much better after it was cancelled and came back on. Before that I think it was a meh show with a few decent episodes. Not on the level of much better cartoon shows Simpsons, Archer, Bobs Burger, South Park, Rick and Morty or Adventure time. But it is right up there with King of the Hill, Venture Bros, BoJack and other pretty decent animated shows for adults.

Fright Night Lights is a good show. I would put Parenthood up there as well as it was done by the same poeple.

These two shows I loved but also made me question my man-hood.

Season 2 was by far the worst season and it's the one you are talking about. There was a writers strike that happened in the middle of it and it lost 7 extra episodes to that season which is desperately needed.

I loved season one but the first episode of season two was so dumb that I quit watching. I've heard that it got away from that plotline and got great again. I never managed to pick it back up though.

Do it. IMO Justified is the perfect show.
Really funny, really interesting, Intense, good drama, good action, and the main villain in justified might just be the best villain in the history of the world. Love the acting from the two main characters, and especially Boyd Crowder. Walton goggins became one of my favorite actors due to his performance in justified.

Justified is excellent binge watching material. Everything fish pointed out is spot on and on top of all that it has a planned series ending that works really well. Great show. Of course not as good as Futurama but still really good.

Haven't watched FNL, but we'll check it out. We started on Jericho earlier this week and it's great so far...very intense.
