Police: Fake news story led gunman to popular DC pizzeria

Washington • A man who said he was investigating a fake news story about Hillary Clinton running a child sex ring out of a pizza place was arrested after firing a rifle inside the Washington, D.C., restaurant, police said.

Edgar Maddison Welch, 28 of Salisbury, North Carolina, was arrested Sunday afternoon at Comet Ping Pong on Connecticut Avenue in an affluent neighborhood of the nation's capital, police said. No one was injured in the incident.

Welch told police he'd come to the restaurant to "self-investigate" the fictitious online conspiracy theory that spread online during Clinton's unsuccessful run for the White House, a police statement said.

What was he gonna do if he found Hillary's child sex ring?

I'd assume kill the operators, free the children, eat some pizza, and become a hero.

I'd like to collect several examples of fake news here. Like stuff about Hillary participating in occult rituals. California just straight up allows illegal immigrants to vote. Trump won the popular vote if you take out all the illegitimate votes. Obama will not leave office but will instead issue a state of emergency and take all our guns. Obama is working behind the scenes, along with Clinton, to facilitate a UN invasion of the U.S. so that our guns can be confiscated. Sandy Hook and the Boston Marathon Bombing were staged events.

etc.

This must be a very lucrative business, if multi-millionaire Clinton would risk everything to run it. I will have to look into it.

Things like this make me think seriously about whether we should have some sort of test to allow people to vote. Like "Which of these things are true and which aren't?" Someone who seriously thought Clinton was running a child sex ring out of a pizza place should never have been allowed to vote.

I already mentioned this, but a coworker of mine told me he wouldn't vote for Clinton because she's part of the Illuminati (who are satanists in his story), and that she got her position by sacrificing children in a blood ritual. He got pretty angry when I disagreed, saying "you sit there all smug and sure of yourself, but if you've only seen what I've seen!".

Sometimes it's hard not to question democracy.

Did he/she elaborate as to what he/she saw and when/how?

It was something about how "we're all energy" and how he knew people who could control others by controlling their energy. Also something about how he's "not religious, but spiritual". It wasn't exactly a riveting intellectual conversation.

Perhaps you're not aware, but this idea has a long political history. It's always floated by people that I would NOT want to be affiliated with.

Have fun looking into it.

You realize I'm not actually suggesting it, right?

You mean like Hillary linked to Bohemian Groves human sacrifices rituals?

The Democratic presidential nominee is so deeply entrenched in the elite New World Order establishment that she even bows down to Moloch, the same occultist god they perform human sacrifice rituals for at the annual Bohemian Grove meetings.

Is this dude like a janitor or some high level employee who believes this?

He was positive that the movie San Andreas was a movie that was made to predict what was going to happen just before this election.

He was certain that obama and the new world order were going to set off a bunch of earthquakes in certain locations causing California to sink into the ocean, Vegas to go under water (hoover damn), and other malarkey. Then obama declare a state of emergency and declare martial law and retain the presidency.

He was 100% certain and 100% serious.

Perhaps this is why the Founding Fathers set up the Electoral College instead of having everyone vote. Maybe it wasn't just distance and discriminating against women and minorities? No, I'm not disparaging the Founding Fathers, for anyone who wants to read more into this than I intended. :)

Hope you made him eat crow.
