2016 NBA Season Notes/Info

Marquese Chriss is off to a great start vs the Knicks 9 quick points in the opening minutes after an airball. I like his chances to finish in the top3-4 of the ROY voting.

New Orleans was up 65-58 on the Warriors at the half on the strength of 30pts combined from Davis and Langston Galloway.

Galloway has been killing it. I don't remember him ever being this good.

Watching on LP.

Warriors came storming back in the third. Lots of jaw jacking - should be a fun finish.

He really showed plenty of flashes on the Knicks, the scout who told Phil Jackson that Porzingis was a one in a lifetime opportunity is also credited for finding Galloway.

He's got some skills and he's proven to be a dead-eye shooter, he's a pesky defender. Pels got great value this offseason with him.

NAOS pet team, the Atlanta Hawks, are so bad this year.

They should've sold high on some of their assets last year, and then more of them after they signed Howard. Now plenty of that value has deteriorated.

When looking at the Hawks it's difficult not to ask - Would Danny Ferry have done a better job?

Pelicans are playing a hell of a game and they still cant fade the Warriors... Their low-cost bench is going off right now.. Terrence Jones, Galloway and Tim Frazier doing plenty of heavy lifting along with AD.

Draymond gets away with mugging AD in the post on his last attempt ...

Honestly at this point(9m to go in the 4th) the Knicks would be better off letting Porzingis play hero ball.. One of the worst games I've ever seen Melo play. PJ Tucker and Jared Dudley are bothering him.

LOL the Knicks fans in PHX are chanting de-fense and just went nuts for a Suns shot clock violation.

Andrew Wiggins went for 23, 9 and 3 tonight and Zach LaVine 24, 6 and 6.

Kris Dunn 2 pts and 1 assist.

Pretty much a microcosm of the season.

LaVine and Wiggins are a year younger than Dunn.

The Dunn pick was an outrageous oversight.. There was even am article floating from the Chicago Tribune yesterday that the Bulls were considering trading Jimmy Butler for Dunn..

i didn't think the Wolves would be any good this year but they are sucking way harder than i thought possible with that talent

Remember the season before the Thunder made their giant leap? Their individual stats were shiny as well, but they were still 1 gear away from it resulting in wins.

The Magic has 131 points and counting in regulation.. Elfrid Payton with 26 on 12 fga's and 14 ast off the bench..

Surprising that super mario only got 2 minutes in a blowout for the magic

KD finally admitted his real height is 6'10¾" without shoes on, which makes him a legit 7' in-shoes.

Improbably, Kevin Durant’s official NBA height is listed at 6-foot-9, but the superstar has at last come clean.

KD says he’s a 7-footer with sneakers on.

Durant says he enjoys “messing with people” when it comes to his height.

Per CSN Bay Area:
Speaking to Bob Fitzgerald on KNBR, Durant put fact over fiction when answering the age-old question of how tall he really is. “Since I love you guys so much, I was recorded at 6’10” and three-quarters with no shoes, so with my shoes on I’m 7-feet,” Durant finally revealed.

So, why has Durant been listed at 6-foot-9 for so long?

“I just like messin’ with people. They just ask me so much… yeah, I just like messin’ with people.”

I wouldn't be surprised if Embiid surpasses Gilbert Arenas as the grand champion of social media in NBA history.
