Jazz @ Nets. Road trip begins. RETURN OF HOUDINI

Lots of Diaw hate in the 2nd half. Was he that bad? Didn't see the game, but I saw he started the game 3-3. Just looks like everyone **** the bed in the 3rd quarter, not just him.

And to the person who said diaw should stop driving, please don't take away the majestic fat man endless pivot drives :(

yeah he was atrocious Was like watching a tall fat version of Trey Burke .. should have just taken 3 pointers instead of fading away long 2's

When The Jazz offense isn't flowing Diaw always seems to have the ball stuck in his hands. You you can tell by his body language the shot has no chance of going in.

People like to complain about the person who gets stuck with the ball w/ the shot clock winding down too much. The offense needs to take shots before we give it to Diaw with 5 seconds left at the 3pt line. A big problem today was working against the shot clock too many possessions.

Easier said than done when no one is moving and no one is guarding your stretch 4. The Nets were daring Diaw to shoot - this isn't the first time we've this happen. II've never seen an offens die faster when Diaw gets the ball 20 feet out facing the basket.

The last few games are pretty much who the Jazz are, and I'm not entirely saying it's bad. It's hard to build big leads as the slowest offensive team in the league, and usually won't get down big no matter who they are playing, and like Quinn said defense in the fourth is what wins games not offense, and that's what the team is doing.

Not sure if your talking about my post. My comment about Diaw was not meant about his drives to the basket. What kills me is when he get a pass out from a Hayward drive and he's wide open. He waits to Long to shoot so he dribbles once or twice and throws up an off balance shot that never goes in. If he would just shoot off the pass his percentage would go up.

The ball finds him because the defense wants it to find him... it isn't that hard to figure out.

We have this guy who plays pickup ball with us... he's nice but he's terrible. He can hit a three every now and again but can't do anything else. It is damn near impossible to win when he is on your team because we will ignore him and play 5 on 4... if he gets an open jumper great... diaw is the NBA version of that guy.

thats what im saying...

everybody is playing decent whose minutes can we afford to cutout? he's going to have real trouble getting any minutes unless he produces big time everytime he touches the ball or does miracles on defense, which he doesnt do. His defense might be a liability at this point.

Burks is too good of a player to just decide not to play him now that he's healthy. You can cut several player's minutes by 2 or 3 and find 10-15 minutes for him easily.

However, there's nothing wrong with bringing him into the rotation slowly, and increasing his minutes game by game.

I think if the Jazz hadn't been in such a close game, he would've played more. At least this got his feet wet, so to speak. But he really didn't have a chance to do or show anything but run up and down the court. His one shot was a Hail Mary at the buzzer.

3 minutes is pretty much a DNP. Just enough to make him wonder WTF is going on here. Gotta find at least 10 minutes for him. Mack played 31 and could have spared a few. 1 or 2 minutes from several other players and it probably doesn't change the game much.

No big deal, as it's his first game back, but Quin needs to find more minutes than he gave him tonight.

I'm seeing better movement out of Favors each game. You could see him run a little faster this game, and he had some lift.

I hope this upwards trend continues, because we need a lot more production out of Favors if we want to stay a top player in the west.
