What's new

Following potential 2017 draftees...

Rawle's really playing well lately, Zona's really locked in for this game... I'm rather convinced hes one of the better players getting a disproportionately small amount of hype given his talent/production.

Fultz missed the triple-double by 1 rebound and even more agonizing than that fumbled away a very winnable game. Great showing for him personally tho.

He's drawing the D'Angelo Russell defense already.

Loaded tuesday for prospect watching. Be sure to check out Robert Williams, DJ Hogg and the Aggies vs Kentucky at 9pm est! UK's favored by 14½ but thats the matchup with the most 1st rd NBA talent IMO.

There's really something to this Miami of Ohio FR. PG Michael Weathers, If he sticks around in college he's gonna dominate.. He's like super-duper quick and he makes it look effortless, like he's gliding.. Really long arms, looks like he's around a 6'7" WS..

He actually reminds me of Schroder.. As of now I'd have to classify him as a floor general type of PG.

Right now he's rail thin and like 150lbs at 6'2" but I assure you he's quite impressive.. Game is super sharp for a Fr.

If he was like a lights out shooter from deep he'd cause me lots off issues placing him in the mock, I'd have to put him near the lottery tbh..

Robert Williams appears to be every bit of 6'10" in this game vs Kentucky.. I actually think his growth spurt was undereported so he can try to steal the show at the combine/generate hype late in the process, he's gonna test out to be a better athlete than Tyrus Thomas... as you can see people are catching on early.... Some of the HS services had him at 6'7".. A&M lists him at 6'9" but it's sandbagged like many a Euro big...

This also means his wingspan could realistically be somewhere in the 7'6" range.. I honestly think he's got the talent to fly ALL the way up the board and end up going like 4th... Like i said a while back he's more athletic than Marquese Chriss.., He's got Ibaka (who I was hyping way early in the process when he was projected in the 40's) shotblocking capabilities from the PF spot.

Idk how u can justify taking Ivan Rabb over him. He's a ****ing freak.. He's wiry strong too and he can shoot and stuff. To me his offensive rebounding potential is greater than most of the top-20 bigs. He absolutely explodes off the ground to the point where he can do something athletic on the way down, giving the illusion of hangtime.. He Oozes with potential that's not sensationalizing it.

He looks like he was made to play NBA basketball.. He's not just gonna be good, he's gonna be a force...

Isaiah Briscoe is now up to 41% from 3 after shooting 46% from the FT stripe and 14% from 3 as a frosh.. He might make his debut in the 2017 mock next update..

Svi with the game-winner. What a heartbreaking loss for KSU that was really such a great effort collectively... He took 3 steps.... There were several bad calls in the favor of KU down the stretch in this one. Including 2 crap calls for KSU's strongest big to pick up his 4th and 5th fouls which changed the game, Lucas was able to keep them afloat dominating around the basket after that.

6'10" SF (42% from 3) Dean Wade showed extremely well for KSU he dropped 20 and was often defended by Jackson, I'm gonna keep tabs on him. Iwundu who DX has in the 2nd rd looked really good but he fumbled away an offensive rebound in a tied game with 3 seconds to go, to give KU the chance for the gamewinner. Also their PG was great and super clutch..

Type of game that reminds me I'd never wanna be a coach.. How can you address the team in the lockerroom after this with anything other than we got jobbed... Sportcenter better mention the travel when they run the highlights.. Clear as day..

Markelle Fultz is far and away the #1 player in this draft, it's really like beyond a matter of preference. He's #1 like Blake Griffin was #1 and like how Allen Iverson was #1.... It's his spot to lose - He's got a sizable lead on second place and isn't showing any signs of slowing down..

The lottery is the Fultz sweepstakes.. He's a complete player and his stats are legitimately better than anyone reasonable could've expected. Getting a steady dose of blocks and steals (had an awesome clutch block vs WSU the other night)

Jackson's length isn't any sort of issue. I prefer him at SG tho.. Josh Jackson is no Michael Porter Jr., for me to consider him at #1 I'd have to think of him that highly, and I certain;y do not, Porter, to me, is vastly superior. The real question here's - Is Washington going to have the #1 pick 2 years in a row??

Jackson's lead on PG's like Dennis Smith Jr and Ball is certainly diminishing too IMO.

Check Romar's W/L record over the past 7 or so years and proceed to scratch your head why any stud recruit would want to go there... or why Lorenzo still has a job.

I ws big on him a couple of years ago. Even though he is a junior he is still very young and a very good 3 point shooter

I have said if briscoe can develope a shot he is a lottery pick might be worth looking at if he is available with our pick
