Should we get rid of Neto & Boris & Mack & bring in Rondo as our backup PG?

Only 3 of his 14 mill contract is guaranteed next year. Could be good insurance if Hill leaves too.

Hood/Burks
Hayward/Ingles/JJ
Favors/Lyles/Bolomdaddy
Gobert/Withey

13 players dressed. Paige can be pulled from the D-League for #14.
 
Have you ever noticed our current roster has been built with high character guys and Rondo is the absolute opposite of that?

At one point I would've jumped all over the opportunity to get Rondo but he has shown himself to be a malcontent and a distraction. Not what our young team needs. I would rather go after Dragic for a backup plan.

Surely this was said in jest, just to gauge the sarcasm level of Jazzfanz, and assess their ability to recognize absurdity. Way to throw Boris in though, that was a nice touch.

We can get DWill back I guarantee it. Probs get Dirk with him to. Dallas is going nowhere fast an Dirk giving back to the Mavs while tryin to get one more would be a great way to go out.
 
Two words: HELL NO!

There's a reason Rondo has bounced around as much as he has that last few years and why he now finds himself on the Bull's bench.

He's a head case and a locker room malcontent who damages team esprit de corps. If he helped you win, then the former might be tolerable, but he doesn't help you win. So why would you want a head case malcontent who does little for you in the win column?

More, why the hell would we want to take on someone else's problem, because that's what Rondo is? Everyone who has thought they could reform him has learned otherwise.

Dragic isn't going to accept a coming off the bench role. He is a high-quality starting PG. It would either have to be him or Hill, plus he'd want a ****e ton of money, and we can't afford him.
 
The trade would be done with the obvious clearance of Rondo receiving a bench role, via Dennis and Quin talking to him directly.

I just think it's a pretty good buy-low opportunity. Isaiah Thomas was said to be detrimental to team morale before the Suns shipped him off.
