Of course, there would be some irony to Trump using that option to get Gorsuch in.

Would also love to see the liberal media/politicians decry this move when Obama did the same thing. Damn politicians. Schumer, who said they have to filibuster, voted to approve Gorsuch in 2006. Stuff like that, which happens with all of the parties, drives me insane. They're not working for the betterment of the country and its people, they're working for the betterment of their party.

Why does this make you laugh? You may see the guy as a crass arse but I highly doubt he is doing this out of greed or power or anything. The most dangerous politicians are ideologues that truly belief what they spew. That is why so many fear Trump, even if they can not pinpoint exactly why an instead reach for externalities to cope an create some cognitive dissonance. Trump is a true ideologue, like Bernie, Paul Ryan, Kucinich, an Ron Paul. Those guys, you can trust nearly 100% what they say is what they truly belief. Trump is cut from the same cloth.

Lol, the Ds made this bed. They lost the election, hard. Then they made use of the nuclear option viable. Gorsuch will be nominated regardless of what the Dems do and filibustering him could cost the Ds a couple more Senate seats in 2017.

Not to mention it looks as if the Ds are fractured on him anyways. Gorsuch has already had a sit down interview with at least 1 D senator despite their leadership trying top stone wall him.
