So the last two games the Jazz have destroyed their opponents. Jazz have posted 120+ games twice in a row on the road for the first time since the 83-84 season. Against the leagues 4th and 8th ranked Ds. Anthony Davis was held to 4-12 with all 4 baskets being dunks. He missed every other FGA he had, every single one.
All of this while Hood is still out. Jazz are not even 100%. To me what has happened is that Favors, Burks and Exum have gotten right from injuries and are starting to eat their opponents alive. But teams can't compensate for that because then Hayward, Hill, Gobert, JJ...eat them alive. Gobert played 30 minutes last night and he has the team high in minutes. Jazz should be fairly rested for the Mavs.
Jazz are playing phenomenal ball.
Other scores - Spurs, Grizzlies, Wolves, Clips (lmfao @ the Knicks, what a dumpster fire) Warriors and Kings won.
Nuggets, Pelicans, Suns and Lakers lost.
Tonight's games:
Rockets @ Hornets
Cavs @ Thunder
Jazz @ Mavericks
Celtics @ Blazers
This could be a really good night for the Jazz. If the bolded teams win the Jazz will 2 games behind the 3rd seeded Rockets, 2.5 games ahead of the Clips and Grizz in 4th and 5th, 5 games ahead of OKC in 7th and 11 games ahead of the Nuggets in 8th.
