2011 draft.....

Ok I have watched Marshall and what I like most about him is that he controls the tempo of the game. He knows where his teammates are and he playsbwith his head up. I agree there are some concerns but in the jazz offense the don't need a point guard that beat people off the dribble all the time.

Of course there is a chance. But I would be pretty surprised. He is just so physically immature. He would be years away from contributing on an NBA court.

Is he really any more physically immature than say Hayward coming out of college?

For me, that's absolutely no concern. Given his skillset, and length, and age, I'd be confident he could put on a another 10-20 pounds of lean muscle over the next few years without skipping a beat.

If we can't move up to get Derrick Williams or Barnes or Irving, I'm all for moving down. Singleton interests me in the mid to late teens. Parsons interests me a little later on as well.

On www.NBADraft.net, they have a Marcus Morris being drafted by the Jazz. I dont anything more then what I read about him. I have to say though that a 6'9" PF with a 6'7" wingspan scares me. Wingspan in basketball is edge, its steals, its blocks, Its surprising your opponent. What do the rest of you have to say about him?

Internetz is serious business. Now when you can stop pretending to be stupid and actually find something to back your arguments I'll listen to you.

Hu..... Damn I really started something!

Here is why I want the Jazz to draft Marshall..... I see him in the the mold of a John Stockton, someone who doesn't need to dominate the ball has a level head, smart, unselfish. I see him developing into a Stockton tipe pure point guard.

Remember how Stockton could take over a game without even scoring a single point. When Stockton played like that the Jazz never lost. That's what I want a point that can make the offense run like a well oiled machine. I see a little of that in Marshall if he is dedicated and works hard he could be special. I'm tired of pointgaurds that think they need to be Micheal Jordan. Give me a John Stockton any day.

None of the mocks are adjusted for team needs, just for fun right now. There is no way KOC is taking another undersized PF with either pick.

Yeah, I would much rather take a gamble with one of the intl guys. The "hot" guy right now is Biyambo. Being compared to Ibaka. Monster wingspan. Like 7'7"

I think we should wait for the actual measurements to come out and nbadarft.net is terrible. The Morris twins are smart, fundamentally sound/versed, productive, efficient players. Grabbing Marcus with the Nets pick would be a reach but there are worse things the Jazz could do than to trade down and get Marcus.

But really, let's wait until real measurements come out before we make any real opinions about measurements.

What? You dont trust the measurements given out by the colleges. :)

By the way anybody who wants to watch a little Euroleague at 2:45 ET Real Madrid is playing a deciding game in their playoffs. This is the team with Tomic potential lottery pick Mirotic.

Let's wait until we see how he does in the Hoops Summit... and I think he won't be eligible until next year with the next freshman class in the US.
