Who could we get to get better via trade?

I always look at that crap teams and good players on those teams.

What do people think about Nic Braun. Didn't turn 29 til December. His percentages are almost identical to Hood but he's a much better rebounder, passer and defender. The catch is his 20M salary. Would the Hornets do Burks, Diaw and the GS pick for him? Would you?

Hill-Exum
Batum-Hood
Hayward-Ingles
Favors-JJ-Lyles
Gobert-Withey

To me, if Favors continues to get healthy a tiny bit more each week and Hood comes back healthy, this would be a helluva team for a couple years.

Thoughts?

Give me Lou Williams.

Yeah, this is making more and more sense to me. I just don't like the deal if it's a Burks-Lou swap. But definitely send over that GSW pick and a couple other considerations if that's what it takes. I don't think LAL is gonna get much better than that.

I've asked for Tucker for the last 12 ****ing months, and people keep laughing it off.

Give me Lou Williams.

This.
I looked at his stats and found that he is shooting good percentages from the field and from three and he gets to the line a lot and shoots a great free throw percentage and is averaging 18.6 ppg in only 24 minutes (thats pretty incredible). Per 36 he averages 27.7 ppg.

He is basically what we hoped burks would be. A rich mans burks if you will. Cheaper than burks too (only 7 million this year and 7 million next year.) He has quite a bit of playoff experience and brings more veteran presence yet isn't too old. (30 years old)

Would love to get him.

What happen to your boi?

He needs to develop, but we need a 4 this year that can actually stretch and be a threat on offense. I still like Lyles, but he's clearly not ready to help the jazz this year,we need someone that can help us have some level of success in the playoffs, and also a little concerned with the fact that he was better last year compared to this year. Hopefully he can have a strong finish this year.

he's on a great contract, i'm sure we could trade one of our good 2nd rounders for him along with Mack or Neto or something.

They want a first rounder though... pretty well documented. Otherwise there are like 20 teams that probably would have traded for him already.

I was on board with him. Great as a small ball four and would add a "don't eff with us" guy.

In case anyone is interested in pj tuckers stats:
28.5 minutes per game. 7.0 points per game (41% from the field, and 33% from three. 1.4 free throw attempts per game), 6 rebounds per game and 1.3 assists per game.

Definately wouldn't give up a first rounder for that type of production.

He is a free agent at the end of this year as well.

I would probably rather just develop lyles instead, and lyles is under contract until the 2019 season and makes 2.3 million, 2.4 million, and 3.3 million for this year and the two years after this one. Plus lyles has more upside.

I think favors will be healthier after the all star break and JJ has looked good at the 4 as well and we are stacked at the wings when hood comes back..... No to tucker tbh.

I've heard that PHX values Tucker beyond his on-court production because of the way he's been pushing Booker in practice. FWIW.

But, yeah, I ain't giving a first for Tuck.

I haven't been paying attention to the Lakers. I just looked it up Williams is putting up an impressive 1.47 points per shot. That's good enough to be tied for ninth in the league(6th if we don't count centers, Rudy is #1 btw) For comparison sake Hayward currently sits at 17th at 1.43 pps.

My only hesitation on the Williams deal is the rotation awkwardness. Either Dante or AB is out of the rotation when Hood comes back. I think he's a great fit with all our backcourt guys except AB. Leads me to think it'd have to be some version of AB for Lou. Likely a three team deal and it's tough to find a team for AB. Once it goes to three teams I think it has a very low likelihood of happening.

He's a bit streaky but with our defense adding in a guy who gets insanely hot wins you a game in a playoff series.

He could play with Dante and Hill as a SG and as a PG with Hood. It's a tough decision for DL... would add to the talent base of the team for sure but would disrupt rotations and possibly chemistry.
