I really like this kid even though I haven't seen much of him in terms of offense other than dunks he plays with great intensity and is a defensive monster.

His stats are nearly identical to Trevor Booker's Jr. season at Clemson.. He's not a dynamic offensive player but he's not necessarily limited either.

I do prefer Cameron Oliver tho, who's a year and a half younger and also a major force blocking shots.. Bell's a Jr but if he waits another year that'd mean he'd be turning 24 halfway thru his rookie season. He's a half a year older than Exum and Lyles.

Y'all know Caleb Swanigan was a 6'2" 360-lb 8th grader in a homeless shelter in Utah..? I wouldn't be surprised one bit if they take him in the 1st. I wouldn't necessarily compare him to Al, he's worked himself into marvelous shape, I'm fairly certain he takes his diet much more seriously than Al.

thats a pic of him before he got adopted. biological father was/is a crackhead iirc

Wow. Had no idea. I like guys that have that kind of drive. It's necessary to succeed. I generally don't start paying attention to college basketball until about right now. He jumped off the screen at me... looked like a man among boys and good passing shooting. Anyway the GSW or 25 turned into him is be happy.

Yup he also could've been a college freshman this season but reclassified up a year so now he's a young Sophomore. There's a clear promising trend of overachieving and staying disciplined..

The 2 dudes he plays next to on the frontline Haas and Edwards are NBA players too, both will get drafted probably, they help him showcase so well -- Swanigan and Haas have great chemistry...

Kennard lead Duke with 23 points yesterday on 9-15 from the field and 3-7 from three. I mentioned taking him with our pick earlier but at that time it seemed like a mild reach. Now if we want him we might have to. He's played his way into the first-round and #27 on DX. Only going to climb higher with games like that.

2015-2016 NJCAA Division II Men's Basketball Player of the Year Jovan Mooring a 6'2" 22-year old Jr. Startig PG at UNLV is an interesting player, if he was like 20 i'd say he could get drafted..

Sharp handle and quick release from 3 and he's got absolutely no conscious.. obviously used to score a ton in D2..

Bol Manute Bol and Mater Dei crushed Shareef O'Neal's team in the playoffs last night. at one point it was 61-25..

Interestingly enough I've seen some people compare Mater Dei's PG Spencer Freedman to John Stockton. It's a major, major reach tho. He does already have offers from USC and Harvard as a Jr...

Pels are shopping TJones.
What kind of pick do you think it would take?

I think he could be an adequate replacement for a separate Favors trade.

Full Disclosure - I'm biased when it comes to T Jones. He's one of those dudes "I'll take on my team anyday of the week".. he's a lefty.. he's a UK/Coach Cal player..

I'm gonna say 2 or 3 2nd rd picks, which I suspect will be too high for the Jazz liking..

I can't help but think they could've had him if they wanted him in the summer for the same price as Bolomboy....

I feel like they're gonna stick with Favors...

If I was in the Pels shoes I wouldn't really want to trade him for pennies even tho there probably was some sort of gentleman's agreement in place for him to get minutes if he signed for so cheap...

Agree with everything you said.
And correct about the gentlemans agreement.

Jonathan Isaac and Jayson Tatum have gotta be very high on the Kings boards now, Ideally they'd want one of them and a PG if somehow they can keep both picks(unlikely)..

They wanted Ingram desperately from the Lakers that's really all you need to know to make that assumption about Isaac.

Something like Dennis Smith and Isaac would be a dream-scenario, that'd give them all sorts of momentum going into free agency... Then lets say they have some injury tank stuff next season they can fall into one of Ayton, Bamba, or Carter you now have an awesome balance of dynamic young lottery picks..

(presuming Gay declines his option and Matt barnes picks his up)

PG - Dennis Smith - Temple
SG - Buddy Hield - McLemore - Afflalo - Temple - Richardson
SF - Jonathan Isaac - Afflalo - Barnes
PF - WCS - Anthony Tolliver - Isaac/Labissiere
C - Kosta Koufos - WCS - Papagiannis

This leaves them with like ~$65MM on the books (presuming McLemore resigned for 10per year) and only like 2-3 roster spots to fill.. again this is a pipe-dream scenario tho..

If it plays out like this and then they get the #1 pick in 2018 Vlade will be called a genius and a visionary, I assure you.

Morefor next years thread but keep an eye on Landry Shamet at WSU. Got a friend who's a die-hard shockers fan and he's convinced they're much better when he runs point. He also said theres rumors about redshirting Austin Reaves next year because he might need another surgery on his shoulders.. so the starting PG job would pretty much be Shamet's next year..

6'4 with a sharp handle and is a damn good shooter.. Sleeper freshman.

Already like him better than Landry Fields...who I've seen is now a scout.

TBH I like the pair of him and MacDuffie better than Van Vleet and Ron Baker..
