Utah Jazz vs Timber Pups Game Thread (7pm)

I hope my posts haven't influenced Stifle not wanting to root for them after 40+ years of fandom. If they did than I truly apologize, not my intention at-all. I just post what I see.

I wouldn't worry about it. If anything, I think your triumphant return to JF could give him the courage to return himself.

How can they be mentally weak? They brought in Boris Diaw, Joe Johnson, and George Hill to be the veteran leaders. Hayward and Favors are 7 year vets.

They don't come out and play every night. They are extremely inconsistent and sometimes downright awful. This team has only been together for over half a season. A good part of our core has no clue what it's like to play on a winning team let alone play consistently. This team is still young, you look at the top teams in the West and you see pretty much ebery team has been around and experienced high caliber playoff basketball. Utah meanwhile is in its first year. They need to toughen up, they need experience.

There's a classic 50 cent tune called "U not like me" in it he says the rhyme "You got fat while we starved, it's my turn
I done felt how the shells burn, I still won't learn"

thats pretty much how the wolves treated the Jazz tonight..

The answers to your question are they're overmatched, and lack firepower, grit, determination, focus, sticktoitiveness, gumption... I'll stop there..

Seriously blew chunks in this one. What the mother****ing hell?

I like how we're now pretending that every team doesn't have at least a few God-awful performances every season, and this is a problem unique to the Jazz.

I like how we pretend that when Hayward gets out-played it's anomalous.. Wiggins bust his *** in this.Early and often.

53 points in 3 quarters is ****ing alarming..

True contenders have few and far between. Back to backs like this are what mediocre teams do. They have to learn to bounce back and tough out the wins like this. That's the step they have to take to be contenders.

What he's saying is true tho, It's been pointed out here for years.. It's like there's something half-assed going on.. something doesn't add up..

Ego much?

I'm here but I don't root for them anymore. A fan without a team just stopping by as an outside observer. I don't think thats what he's gonna do..Never had my acct de-activated either.

Ego much?

My aim is to pick up on patterns as early as possible, which leads to many early predictions and then constant reviews of those predictions.. it's not a formation of some waste-of-time ego stroking or peacocking if you will, if thats how it appears than so be it. it's about a process of refining and calibrating certain associations...

I got all sorts of **** this summer when I called them out in great detail for "going for it" using the GUARDED tactics they chose

Wait you predicted that we'd be the 4 seed 2/3 through the season and that it would be received negatively? We are still overachieving this year.

This was the sorriest most pathetic loss of the season. Every player on the team should give up their paycheck for the night. This is the type of game that makes me pissed the Jazz didn't make a trade at the deadline. This team needs a Trevor Booker type in the worst way, or someone who isn't coasting out there.

Yeah, I agree with that. I mean Houston just lost to Heat at home not too recently, and the Timberwolves have managed to beat the Rockets, Thunder, Grizzlies, and Raptors this season.

I still hate seeing games like this, but it's sorta the realities of the NBA world unless you're uber elite.

The starting lineup with Favors and Gobert isn't working offensively. I wonder if Joe Johnson would be better off starting. Then just Favors and the backup 4 and 5.
Lyles is completely worthless and Diaw is fat and slow.

This game needed Trevor Booker? Did we not miss enough easy layups for you?

Officially done with this team. Hope Hayward leaves and the Jazz rebuild. Utah doesn't have enough players who care. Everyone is tired...so is Minnesota. Simply no excuse. They choked last night after being up by 4 and then just threw this game away.

I can understand frustration but I would like you to check this link out. This shows the playoffs record of Golden State Warriors by years. I think waiting for success for too long is not something only Jazz fans have to bare, don't you think?

I post, therefore I am.

It's really hard being a Jazz fan.

We've had some really nice runs followed by some absolute stinkers. Some of the painful losses at home.

It seems like just when we are about to take off, all of the air comes out of our balloon.
I feel like a said kid at the fair with cotton candy on his face.
