I've had grocery store fried chicken that was better than KFC, so color me skeptical... but maybe i'll grab some today to see what the hype is about (I actually love mustard flavored things.... mustard gardettos are SUPREME)

Honestly, for me at least, it ain't the chicken that makes it so good. It's the sauce/spice/breading/rub or whatever it is.

I would love to get the recipe and put it on all kinds of ****.
 
Mustard in BBQ make the greatest flavor of all the BBQ flavors. Although almost nothing will get me to go eat the crap at KFC even if it tastes good. But this thread did spike my curiosity. I don't eat fast food often or really ever if I have a choice and I try to avoid eating places where teenagers work.

There is this small grocery store in Alpine Wyoming, a couple miles from where I do most of my work in the summer, and it has the most delicious fried chicken I have ever eaten. It's like manna from heaven. I don't know how they make it so good, but I suspect it has something to do with methamphetamine, as the town also has a huge meth problem. lol.

I want to retire somewhere in that area btw (star valley.... freedom, thayne, alpine, one of them little towns around there)
That's my kinda country.
 
KFC is the bomb. I've probably never had good chicken though so it doesn't mean much.

I do not care what any of you say, I loves me a good buckit of KFC for a Sunday picknick.

Problem is I don't care for fried chicken that much an only got it once a year or so. Popeyes sucks. Chicken fillet sucks. KFC is awesome if ya kin avoid the fatty skin pieces. Throw them to the dogs.
