2016-17 Hype Train Playoff Chase!!!

I am guessing you don't get to watch many games and base your opinion purely on stats.

When you lose an argument based on the facts, do you always make **** up about the person who has destroyed your argument? (I have league pass and watch every game)

Agreed Bulletproof.

West just got a whole lot easier. #3 seed is even more attractive. Ow! Go Jazz!!

but anyone who watches games knows we have a problem playing down to our competition, and that's what I was referring to.

May I suggest that you watch some non-Jazz games, or at least occasionally read the scoreboard? Every good team brings extra juice against top teams and tends to cruise against weaker opponents. Go look at other top teams and count the bad teams that beat them (and those who lost in close game). You'll learn something, my little bitch monkey.

We have to go down to 6 or 7. We're obviously better vs houston than vs clippers. Plus, 6th or 7th seed means avoiding gsw. We have to lose games. Seriously, we have to...

I'm not buying that, homecourt advantage thing, we're not going to beat clippers. Even if we do, warriors will sweep us.
San antonio is not a contender or an elite team at all, especially without LMA.

With LMA out indefinitely with heart condition, they only rely on Kawhi with an older Pau and Tony Parker. I think they're an overrated team. I think houston is more dangerous than san antonio.

Even without LMA they are one of the best teams in the NBA. They have prove it year after year. I don't agree with the view that the Jazz has to lose on purpose to avoid a particular team.

Low BB IQ tbh, LMA has played really badly this year. They've relied almost entirely on Kawhi. Losing LMA may even prove to be a saving grace for them. He's HIGHLY overrated.

Warriors without Durant is what is the overrated team. Tbh.

Best matchups for us: OKC > Houston > Memphis > Clips, but we're perfectlyt capable of beating any of them. We have a small chance at beating either GSW (maybe 1% if they have Durant back) or SA (like 15%?).

Where is the evidence for this?

I don't think our season series is evidence of anything either. I think OKC in general is the weakest team out of the top 7. And I don't foresee any matchup problems, personnel-wise. They barely squeezed out 3 wins despite our injuries and them having above-average-games.

Nice to see the top teams getting some injuries. Hopefully we are healthy and can make some noise. Anything is possible with Gobert Hayward and Hill.

Favors just got hit with another bone contusion.

Tonight is a huge game for the Jazz. The Jazz need to win this one.

Clippers @ Jazz. Clippers are 1 game behind the Jazz. If they win this game they will also hold the tie breaker over Utah.

Bucks @ Grizzlies
Hawks @ Spurs

Diaw/lyles/jj vs griffin no bueno.
Withey vs deandre and griffin also no bueno

This is a must win for home court advantage. Probably our first must win of the season for anything. We also can't get swept in the regular season by the clippers and expect to beat them in the playoffs.
