Dante is closer to an emu than panther.
was mostly a reference to the X in the last name, the Black Panthers were inspired by Malcolm X (Dante X)

Oh, Dante X is suppose to be a nod to Malcolm X. Yeah, still don't like it. Just doesnt sound right.
that's where the Black Panther came from. Would be cool seeing him in posters with Black Panther berets and **** (utah would have a heart attack lol)

How about Pierce? In a nod to the classic film Dante's Peak, starring Pierce Brosnan.
It would be great if Exum's game would someday become worthy of the nickname "Inferno".

Who cares if he earned it, just call him Inferno, it's probably the best we are going to do.
And Bolerjack will call him the x-factorI will continue to simply call him X

I do like X-factor. Hadn't thought of or heard that one yet.I'm with you. All that Malcolm X/Black Panther stuff is ancient history and there just isn't that general association anymore. Inferno sounds too contrived like some kind of "X-Man" designation when simply referring to him as X Man is far better IMO. I'll refer to him either as Exum, X, X-Man or X-Factor, probably in that order.
