Following potential 2017 draftees...

Saw the UCLA game live... Lonzo is impressive... there is some awkwardness to his body, shot form, and demeanor but seeing the dude live he just controls the game so well for his age and that level. That guy will be great.

His shot mechanics are goofy but watching him warm up it is no fluke that it goes in. Does it the same every time and had very few misses
 
Veecham for ND shows up on the mocks near the end of the 2nd round....but he is not an NBA player. Terrible performance today.

He's very streaky and this was the wrong time for a bad game. Still a better prospect than Anthony Brown who the Lakers drafted not long ago.

He's got potential. Would be a nice UDFA for Utah tbh, at least get him on the SL and D-league roster.
 
I still think Nigel Hayes will/can be a way better pro than college player, but his shooting regression makes him undraftable to me.

I'd still take a chance... I'd love to know what kind of worker he is, but I think he's the type of guy who would do much better in an Nba spaced court. Definitely has the physical tools and talent... he'd be worth using a second round pick on.
 
Wow, what has Josh Hart been thinking on these drives?

That's a hit to his draft stock. Dont see him going in the first round.

He did make some big plays this game on both ends, but damn, his shot just suck so much *** right now. I'd love him if he was even a decent shooter. The shot doesnt even look good.

I like in the post-game interview he compared his layup to a Michael Jordan highlight.

Oh yeah, Hayes is a pretty funny guy.
 
That Omari Spellman ineligibility ruling really killed Nova. That was exactly what I was just telling someone here about Mikal Bridges and the 'redflags' if you will on his offense. Reynolds was rendered useless in this..

Brunson could've played better.

They got worked on the boards.

Freshly minted 2nd rd mock draftee Donte Divichenzo played a hell of a game in the loss.
 
Zach Collins with an excellent showing today for all to see. Him being as good as he is could help the Jazz... a solid big or 2 could get pushed back that much further because of him.
