What's new

Knickerbockers (27-43) @ Jazz (44-28) **PLAYOFF SPOT CLINCH - 97' TEAM REUNION**

Uhh, he's also still not on Gobert's age level.

You do realize Porzingis isn't even old enough to drink in America yet, and Gobert got his AARP card three years ago.

Regardless of that, there is not a basketball fan, a basketball GM, a basketball coach, or a basketball player that would take Gobert over Porzingis right now. Our guy is a mythical, magical unicorn...your guy is merely a frog.

Come on, mija. The only reason I brought up Porzingis is because you were flapping those infected gums that the only reason Gobert was playing well was because it wasn't against the kid. A little bit of intellectual honesty goes a long way.

How anyone can deny that Porzingis is a fine player and deny that his ceiling is miles higher than Gobert's is ridiculous.

You Jazz fans got all excited over Gobert's career high 35. Hell, Porzingis did that last November. He really did. Our unicorn is only 16 years old and he's putting up 35 a game...and that's while playing with Melo, a guy known for the stickiest hands in NBA history.

Look, I like the Jazz. I own a Gordon Hayward t-shirt, I paid good money to see them when they came into town to play my Knicks, I even play a little Jazz on my guitars. But come on, Gobert couldn't even make my team as a benchwarmer. We have the unicorn and Yannick Noah's kid as big men. Gobert can't compete against those two.

And too bad we more or less knocked you out of the playoffs last night. Denver Nuggets beat the Cavs last night and destroyed your playoff dreams. Denver Nuggets, also known as the New York Nuggets because of that Melo trade. They still have about ten New Yorkers on that team. The New York Nuggets put a fatal blow to your playoff hopes last night. I love it. Two years in a row we shatter your dreams.

man somebody has a sad little life. Sometimes trolls are funny if they know what they're on about and make a timely point. And then there's this dude ...

It's called being a Knicks fan for the past decade.
Latest news is we are going back to the triangle full stop next season. Oh, joy.

Bro, it's been longer than a decade. Hasn't it only been a decade since firing Isiaih Thomas? Surely you can't say those were good years... or the Layden years... You guys had that nice run in the '98 lockout season where I was really pulling for you and loved that JVG was a random guy about to be fired but made a career off that run (and Alonzo's leg).

I don't mean this to demean you, but the Knicks have been the worst run franchise in professional sports for 20 years. After Layden stacked the most expensive roster in the league with every undersized power forward on this hemisphere, I didn't think the decimation he assisted on that franchise could be matched but the next 15 years after him has really been a breathtaking experience to behold.

I know, I know.

We stink. And that's why when I go to the Garden it is to see other teams and their players. Last year I made sure I got a chance to see Hayward, Gobert, Hood...the Jazz. Paid good money to see them, too.

And that's something you folks outside of NY should be aware of. Even though my Knicks have been "the worst run franchise in professional sports for 20 years," they still sell out every single game! Packed! We have to pay an insane amount of money just to get in. That Jazz game cost me just over $100 and I was sitting up in the top level. Prices here are insane...and our team STINKS! Makes zero sense.

It's the second largest city in the world. It makes perfect sense.

It's because you live in the largest city in America. Supply and demand.

I think maybe it was written by an alt? Hmm..... yeah.... hmmm...

Yeah.
Boy, because of your idiotic conspiracy-at-every-corner thinking, you sure are missing out on the fun. I am a New Yorker, a fan of the lowly Knicks, for God's sake, and I come here to blast your team when they play us. That's comedy gold for the members here. A Knick fan comes here and says they are going to trounce your Jazz tonight? Some members here have had great fun with it. But a moron like you thinks, "Oh, this guy is just an alt. He's really a Jazz fan pretending to be a New Yorker." Dope. Keep thinking that and you have no fun at all with me. What a humorless drip you are.

But that still doesn't explain or take into account the fact that we are a 20 win team.

Nor does it take into account why the Nets - another NY City team - do not sell out. They suck and I could get into a game there for five dollars. Really can. Me and my Knick friends have thought of doing that. $5.00 for a Net game right now vs. $75 for a Knick game right now...end of season and both teams suck, yet Knick games cost so much. Both play in the second largest city in the world.

I want to go see Toronto on April 9 vs the Knicks. Second to last game of a miserable season, we will be playing our rookies, Toronto will be resting everybody for playoffs and still the sh!ttiest seat at the Garden for that game is eighty bucks!

Yes, it is tough to be a Knick fan because of their play, but also because of the cost. I know people who take their entire family to Philly to watch the Knicks. Road trip cost, food, hotel, four great seats...and all that is cheaper than going to the Garden to see a Knick/Sixers game.

And, in general, your shtick is incredibly unoriginal (i.e. not fun).
What I said still stands: what a humorless drip you are.

Keep thinking I am an alt, you conspiracy simpleton. Hey, do you think Big Foot ransacked your garbage cans last night? Or was it aliens from Planet X?

Lolz. You're a clown. You know who else had a killer ceiling? Jonathan Bender. So who gives a ****. Ziggy blows on defense (2.0 blocks means nothing) and will never hit his ceiling in that ****hole of a city and franchise.

No, it makes complete sense. You and the rest of the fanbase are complete morons.

What? Who the **** is denying that Porz is a fine player? Is this that public school education that has you all twisted? Porz is fantastically good but the reality is that the KNicks will squander his talents. You know this and I know this. As soon as the front office decided to bring on that hack of player, Melo, and sign him to a contract with a no trade clause, well, the writing was on the wall.
