GAME 82: Denver Nuggets at Utah Jazz, 4/13 6:00p MDT

hayward is turning out as the best bust eva!!

At this time, I would also like to apologize and eat crow about the Hayward draft pick. I think its clear that he's a guy that will work his *** off to make it in this league. I think he will seriously bring it next season. Too bad we have to wait 6 months to see it.

Denver's pulling out our secret weapon from last year's playoff upset. If you can't beat him, make him join you... or somethin. boom bitches

Agree with you on all counts, except I didn't mind the Hayward pick when it happened. IMO we don't need to worry about chasing UFA's like Affalo when Hayward is on the scene. This kid is proving that if you give him starter's minutes, he will give you production on BOTH ends of the court. If the Jazz are indeed going to go with a starting frontline in 2011/2012 of Favors-Jefferson-Millsap, that leaves Air Gordon starting @ the 2. You're certainly not going to chase Affalo just to bring him off the bench and not starting Hayward next year would be a big mistake.

I'd like to see the Kanter kid be available with Utah's first pick. I realize he'd be coming off the bench but I think Utah could wreak havoc using Kanter in a 4 man front court roation along with our 3 starters. If Utah could do that, and then find a serious 3-point shooter with the 2nd pick or Free Agency, I think they would easily contend for a playoff spot.

Anyone else enjoy Kosta fumble the ball through his legs multiple times and not bust up laughing?

Hayward played great ball. Shot when open and was great from the arc. He made some huge steps toward being a great player at the end of the season. Hope he can come back next year and continue to improve. nice game from the team. Al starting to pass the ball a lot better out of the post and Favors is just fun to watch.

Well not looking forward to the long summer, Can't wait for next season to start.

That was a fun game, good way to end the season. I loved the emotion everyone had in the last minutes of the game.

Didn't see the game, but I really like the Favors alley oop highlight on NBA.com. If he could run the court like that consistently and not get winded out so often like he has appeared to at times, he's easily a 20/10 guy even without any further skill appreciation. So much potential there.

Loved the game. great way to end the season. The jazz have a bright future ahead of them with a solid core of milsap, favors, hayward, jefferson and miles (just kidding.) Lovin the rookies. gread draft by oconner. wierd stats tonight: denver and utah took and made the same amount of shots, and took the same amount of free throws and had the same amount of rebounds. Lastly.... the crowd was great tonight loved seeing everyone up and loud at the end of the game

It was nice to end the season on a bit of a good note. Hayward and Favors look like they may be very good players going forward.

our DNPs tonight were:

1. Fes
2. Bell
3. Miles
4. Price
5. Kirilenko

all of them could be gone next season. Watson probably will be as well, since I can't see why he'd re-sign here. Elson is also up in the air

Isn't that too many holes to fill? Seriously, we get two players via draft (maybe a third if Raja is shipped out for a second-rounder), maybe Weaver?

I'm tellin you guys... brace yourself for the return of CJ

This is the reason CJ is going to be back. You can add Memo to your list of MIA and another that may or may not be back next season. This will be an interesting off season to be sure. Especially if they are forced to fill their roster in a hurry due to the lockout.

That was a fun game. Hayward's ceiling is very high. He has great instincts and he's incredibly competitive. He can take over a game without even having the ball in his hands. That sounds crazy but I really think it's true.

I got bored by halftime. Denver was totally checked out. Glorified preseason game.

Thats too bad. Jazz played with alot of emotion and the crowd was into it. Jazz only having 8 players and all playing hard, plus the guys for denver that did play seemed to care and play hard. Sounds like you were totally checked out billy..... Not that i blame you too much after this season but i had a blast watching this last game of the year and i think the jazz future is looking pretty good.

It was a fun game to attend. Maybe not so good on TV, I guess. I will say that the halftime entertainment was the worst I've ever seen by a wide margin. It was nothing but a very poorly done ad for Rocky Mountain Power. I sure hope that isn't the beginning of a trend.
