What's new

Following potential 2017 draftees...

Super sleeper name to watch is a 7'2" Senegalese C, Tanor Ngom, born in January '98. He's got a babyface but looks like his arms are nearly as long as Rudy's. He can definitely run, definitely has a massive pair of hands too..

Ended in a 3 way tie (picks 24-26) with Cleveland and Toronto. Is there a coin toss or another method they use for playoff teams?

Mark Smith is the real deal. Kid is a stud. Only just started focusing only on bball. Was a star baseball player until injury derailed his pitching career before it started. Super smooth game big body. Reminds me of Denzel Valentine. He is that type of player. My sources back home say he is going to Sparty though. He loves Izzo and knows he will be properly coached now. Remember tyhis a kid who is has just started focusing on roundball. With some great coaching sky is the limit for the kid and sorry Jones and AB but Izzo> Calpri and it is not even close when talking about coaching skills. Cal is the better recruiter no doubt but Izzo is twice the coach

John Collins is in the draft and has signed an agent.

I don't understand the hype with him. He is undersized and my opinion. No way he is 6foot10. Decent but not great athlete. I just think whoever picks him is going be disappointed. Id much rather have Leaf from UCLa or Collins from the Zags.

Izzo now has a hand in limiting Miles Bridges earning power for the benefit of his program. Coach Cal is above that, has been for a long time...

Coaching is about more than x's and o's

He's actually a pretty good 3pt shooter, he's phenomenally skilled and advanced for his age. A true floor general with GREAT instincts.

We'll see how he develops... How tall is the kid? This will play a big role in his shooting. What I could find in limited attempts in mixtapes is that his release point is sort of besides his head and very far in front of it. He has a hitch in his jumper, releases regularly after the apex. So I'm not sure his shot is really slow or just slowed down by the late release. But shooting this far in front of his head means he needs size so his shot doesn't get altered too often and if he can't speed up his release that would hurt him as well. His off hand adds rotation to the ball.

Positively: He's got plenty of time to develop and fix a lot in his shooting system!

If he ever getts bored of looking like the lion king or his hair bothers him, he can just rock this look!

Lindell Wigginton gets his 5th star from Rivals in their 2017 finalized rankings!!! I've only been hyping him here since he was barely in the top-100..

I swear he's a way better version of Trey Burke.. Possibly the best floater in the class too. He doesn't need to get all the way to the rim..

3-star Aussie(by way of the Sudan) bigman Mayan Kiir, (who I first read about searching for Exum's HS footage) has completed the excodus of VCU's incoming class. He's now headed to LSU. He's got really high upside for a 3-star.

he's built like what many world imagine is a 'new age PF' He's sorta like Chris McCullough but with way less hype, about 6'9" with long arms and legit athleticism.

Maurice Calloo is a Canadian player I mentioned here a few summers back. He's gonna fly up the class of 2018 rankings next season. He's cut a lot of babyfat. Dude is abnormally skilled for a player that age/size..

Go cut and paste it if u'd like, CTRL + X and then CTRL + V.. It can be done in a shorter time than it took you to complain.. The fact of the matter is no one on this site is making calls like that with Wigginton. I do it regularly and still get ****.

No ones saying anything here right now.. u act like I'm trying to de-rail some convo.. If someone has somethign to say, post it, I'm not interfering with that..

Here's the list of my favorite 4-star players in the HS class of 2017 now that rankings are being finalized.. guaranteed there's NBA players here. My accuracy with 'favorite 4-star players' is well documented in these threads.. Look no further than Robert Williams.

Allonzo Trier won't be testing the draft waters this year. He's going back to school.

Not exactly good news for the Jazz he could've been picked.

Rawle Alkins would be a major steal in the 2nd rd for Utah. I'm sure he'd develop quite nicely here. He's definitely got 1st rd type of upside.

limited his earning power?lmao he is going be paid millions and make millions during his career. Calpri is a salesman and that's it. He cant coach for a lick. Coaching isn't all about x and o but player development. He develops player. All the players that get drafted under Calpri would of been drafted had they not gone to college in the first place. How did Calpri do with the Harrison twins and their "earning power"? They would of been lottery picks out of high schools and are either even in the league? Daniel Orton another one. Calpri is a sorry *** coach

Good job AB you have now officially hyped over 100 players in this class and when draft comes you will say I told you so. You just cast a wide net so ofcourse some will exceed expectations but then you will sit here and tell us how you were on so and so for so long. Not that hard to do when you hype 100 players up and only 60 draft picks exist.
