How in the holy

Rationalize this **** all you want, but I promise that if the Jazz show that kind of effort at the rim for the rest of the series, the Jazz won't win another playoff game this year.

They did fine in the 2nd half. The defense improved. Also it's not my job to come up with a solution. And I'm not that worried about it. The overreaction is hilarious though, keep it up.

I'm 99% sure this dude was taking a total dump on the jazz a few months ago -- saying, essentially, that we had no shot in the first round, regardless of seeding or opponent.

I agree with hack-a-Jordan. Whithey needs to clock him once or twice. And for hell's sake figure out how to disrupt that stupid lob. It is so heavily telegraphed, it is no secret it is coming. Is it really as unstoppable as superman? Come on.

And yes, Favors needs to find his legs, if they are there at all. He looks slow and out of it. There were at least 6 runs to the rim they had with Favors a single step away and he made no move to the rim at all.
Withey blocked the lob once and it was awesome. I hope his mind is right so he can play well.

Jazz are holding the Clips 12 points below their average scoring output. The Clippers offense is far from impressive. The real concern is how are the Jazz going to score more points?
Favors needs to screen like Rudy and try to help others get open. Although it seems like cp3 and others are very trained for the screen. Last game he kept slipping by them because he saw them before they got there.

In G2, we allowed a lot of points inside but still managed to take the game to the last minute. Of all quarters we only lost Q1. It's not like we'll certainly lose when Gobert does not play. In fact last time I checked the bookies gave the Jazz around 55% chance to win G3.

That is not close to what I said. I believed then and now that they were not real contenders right now and that this years playoffs were a stepping stone. I believe I said talking about the 2nd round 3 months ago was premature, and may be premature by 1 year and 3 months. I'm one of the more optimistic posters on this site. I just don't over react to short term trends. I don't think the Jazz are good enough to win it all. A win in the first round would be nice but I won't be devastated if they lose. It's a process and I believe this team has a very bright future.

You on the other hand threw a tissy fit when the Jazz didn't sign every washed up vet that got released. Hell you still can't drop that stupid line of thinking as you were so butt hurt you made a thread about it during the playoffs.

Your spin is hilarious.

Why even engage him? You won't get anything back short of delusional, smug mocking.

There is no spin. That is what I said.

Here's some of what you said:

We have young players at those positions who can use experience. Right now Lyles isn't getting it but I have confidence that he will be back on the floor rather soon. Favors is getting better, Exum is rounding into shape. We are not getting past the 2nd round, we are unlikely to get past the 1st round. None of the options listed or available change that in the slightest.

Should I keep bumping?

Is it not clear after 2 games that, with a healthy Gobert, we would quite likely get into the second round, contrary to the statement above? Is it not clear after two games that despite the fact that at the deadline we were already looking at a likely meeting with the Clippers, that our injury insurance for Gobert was inadequate for the task of dealing with DeAndre Jordan? Where's Lyles right now? Why isn't Exum ready to deal with the ball pressure that Felton was applying against Mack? Are they getting the playoff experience you think this team needs moving forward?

**** you, pal. This is a legit conversation about the management of this team. You're such a rubber stamp + softie that you can't apply yourself here. Ciao.

(had to unhide your post because I knew it was going to stink of failure)

Good point. Hell the post right after yours shows I did not take a total dump on the team but he used like it was evidence that he was correct and I wasn't. I'm done with him. Thanks.

I think they would win another game but not the series.

Rudy gets hurt and the series changes.
Ramon breaks his thumb and Boston has new life.

I hate to say this but I hope a key clipper gets hurt. Like deandre throwing down his 15th dunk of the night and strains his pectoral or something. Nothing serious, but dang the universe owes the Jazz something, they can't be on the wrong side of every bad break.
