Playoff Game 6: Jazz vs Clippers 4/28/17 8:30 PM, ROOT, ESPN

Mack is done in Utah, and for good reason.

Not sure what that reason is. All the backups PG have been inconsistent with their impact. Sometimes they play solid and make big plays, other times they make tragic plays.

Neto is the one known for the defense and steady play. He didnt provide much steadiness with some terrible decisions. We needed offense and Mack can provide offense. I know it's hindsight OFC, but I think Mack would have been the right choice.

Because the Jazz won't be able to pay him what he will be offered by another team

I don't think he gets priced out per se... more of a role issue than money.

He did awesome... we rode him too long.

Interesting find. Hood is definitely a rhythm shooter. I think we all know this.

I think it's more of the fact that off the bench he tries too hard to assume this role of the 6th man microwave scorer, so he forces a lot of dumb ****. With the starting unit he knows he has two better perimeter players he should be deferring to so he is less apt to take forced shots and instead lets the game come to him.

I can't decide if I should buy tickets and go to game 7... it's at frickin 12:30... day and a half turnaround time... if Gobert can't go I'd be pissed.

The great news is there are so many tickets for sale... Clippers fans don't deserve to win this.

Hindsight is what the internet is for. We come here to give our take. No harm in suggesting alternatives. What we did tonight didn't work.

The inability to develop Exum and Lyles for tonights game bugged me. Whether that was the players fault, or coaches or both these two lotto picks made zero impact on the playoffs.
Very disappointing.

He shot a fall away baseline leaner. I just cant excuse that. At least when Mack misses shots they are ones he can hit.

He also made the best defensive play of the game and scored a layup and hit a three... a missed shot is a missed shot... not penalized for how bad it is.

If we were fully healthy Id say go for it. Our team is crushed, and our big men are weak on a short turnaround afternoon game. Smells like a recipe for disaster to me.

and everyone took bad shots. Hill, Hood, Gobert all took bad shots to name a few.

Neto was destroyed by Paul on defense, but he did make some nice energy plays + that big 3 pointer(which I thought was going to turn the game momentum to us for good)

The Jazz will have to condense their roster. There really is no way around it. They are going to have to have super cheap dudes outside of their regular rotation players. Hopefully DL can strike gold in the draft.

The two wins the Jazz have had have been on the short rest days (2) and the 3 losses have all been on the 3 rest days.

What really hurts is zero impact from two lottery picks.

We have a lot of good, but not enough great talent. I think we need to look for specialists, and tough energy guys.

Didn't think he got destroyed on defense. Paul shot over him which is basically what he does to all of our guards.

I agree he doesn't come back and we shouldn't allocate resources his way... I don't see him making a whole lot more than he does now.
