This team has been so fun to root for. No quit in these guys... no off court issue (Withey pending). All guys you want to root for. I live outside of Utah and many Kings fans have said "I hate the Jazz but find myself rooting for you guys because your players play the right way".

Don't overeact to what happens in this series. Warriors are historically great. Enjoy this team for what they are and have been this season. So many great moments.

Alright Jazz go shock the world!

I would go for 4 close games instead of 2 breakout wins for warriors and 1 game steal by jazz.

Yep. My favorite Jazz team ever. I think i love this team even more than the finals teams. What a bunch of ballers! Against injuries, refs. food poisonings... doesn't matter. THey just go out there and plow through.

GO JAZZ!!

IIRC, right before GSW's rise, they had a humbling series against the great Spurs. I think there's a solid consensus among Warriors fans that it was important for them to get a chance to measure themselves against the West's elite, head-to-head, in the playoffs. This is part of what fueled their rise.

For us (like it was for them), this is a serious growth opportunity. Either way, we leave this series with an excellent sense of what we need going forward.

Easily my favorite team since the Stockton/Malone era, and as blasphemous as it might sound, it probably has surpassed them. This group is just much more enjoyable to root for. There aren't many off putting personalities on this team. Even guys like Lyles and Mack who I don't want to see much PT from seem like really good guys.

FYI... I'm going to the game tomorrow with my 10 year old son. Wife is pissed cuz we are leaving for Hawaii in the morning, so the wife tax will be heavy... just feel like I gotta support these guys. Hoping we aren't too fatigued to fight.

This team seems like they have more of a chance to stick together long term than the DWill Booze Era. Stockton/Malone teams still my favorite... first love ya know.

Also, this team has accomplished enough for the Miller's to pay luxury tax to keep it together. Can mitigate the tax a bit next year by moving on from Burks. May not be able to keep Favs, but it is time to pay some tax if necessary.

I hope the new trust ownership makes us more willing to spend since all profits are reinvested and we likely had a banner year... lowest payroll and a couple rounds of playoff revenue and great attendance.

I agree with this. By the time Malone and Stockton made their finals run it was starting to feel like "son of a bitch it's about ****ing time we got there". This team is much more Cinderella-ish, which makes for a nicer more exciting vibe.

No doubt OP, we are playing with house money at this point. Icing on the cake you might say.

The rebuild has been a resounding success and I loved every step of the process. (Even rooting for losses during the tank was really fun imo)

Go Jazz!

The DWill/Booze teams had too much of a primadonna vibe. From DWill bitching and then chasing Sloan out to "ima get paid REGARDLESS" Boozer to AK's teenage angsty moodiness it was hard to really like those teams. Nothing like that with this team. Love this team from stem to stern.

This organization has done a great job when you can enjoy even the tank. From the time they let DWill go it has been exciting. If they can compete in the playoffs for several more years that would be amazing, title or not(not that I'm playing down their chances for a title).

That was the series where everyone woke up to what Curry could be. The spurs won, but the takeaway was that a star was born in those playoffs. That was the first time we saw what became an MVP.

I would love for the Jazz to have a series like that. It would be so awesome for this team moving forward.

Rudy's coming out party?

That team had a really good offensive potential though. But i was swearing on Boozer every game cuz of his matador defense. And God after him Al Jefferson was even worse defensively. And after that Enes was the worst defender. Thats why i love Favors despite of his imperfections. He is good defensively.

Credit to the Miller's for letting DL do his thing. He allowed the team to mature then picked the right time to plug in the pieces to make the jump.
