NFL Draft

I like the Packers draft.

They definitely got bigger and faster. Not like they can get any worse on defense.

I like their scattershot approach to RB's. All different types, at least one of em has to work. Pretty much anything after the 5th round is a crapshoot, so I don't worry about team need there. Basically just two rounds of early UDFA's.

I hate to burst your bubble, but Walker is awful. Probably my least favorite pick of the draft (not that my opinion matters). Just not impressed by him. Not a good pass rusher, not a good run defender. Idk.

Love Carlos Henderson. Bolles is interesting. Has all the skills, athleticism, and tenacity. Only played 1 year of major ball and he's already 25. Hopefully he doesn't take long to develop, he's already in his prime.

It'll be interesting for sure. Broncos with some interesting moves. They have a tough schedule this upcoming season.

I don't remember your fandom(Utes or Cougars) but they drafted Jamaal Williams too so there's a local prospect on the team.

Thomas and Foster should help the 49ers worst run defense of all time. Also love that my 49ers drafted Joe Williams. He could be the home run hitter the 49ers need. Also very happy with the George Kittle (TE)pick

Yo, be honest. Before the draft, had you even seen one Josh Dobbs game in totality? I.e., not YouTube highlights.

Over the last two years, I've probably seen 10 of Dobbs' games. Admittedly, I've watched maybe one-third to half of those games because I'm always going back and forth between my bets but anyway, yeah, the kid is terrible. Absolute garbage. They were so highly touted the last couple years, especially this past season, and in a down year for the SEC, Tennessee managed to go just 9-4 and should've been 8-5 but got lucky as hell to win vs. Georgia with a Hail Mary at the end of regulation. Much of that disappointment was due to Dobbs' mediocre play. 63.0% (61.5% for his career) and a 27/12 TD:INT ratio is just not very good in college.

He isnt terrible. He had a disappointing season, far from terrible.

Dobbs is kind of comparable to Prescott, but with less boss factor. Not as built, but a better runner. Super higher character dude too.

Dobbs is a really good guy, and a better runner, but being a better runner doesn't mean much at the next level imo.

I look at it this way, in hindsight, Miss State overachieved with Dak relative to the talent they had. Tennessee underachieved with Dobbs relative to the talent they had.

I probably watched 10 full games of Dobbs career. He's extremely underwhelming. He's so bad, I constantly wondered why he wasn't playing QB for Utah.
